for those asking, im guessing 4x4x8 posts, 12ft 4x4 spans and looks like he put post anchors into the pavers. looks like a 12 x 12 structure.

That is bad to anchor the post to the loose pavers. And Paver is only 2" thick, I don't know if it can stand the high wind.

They are post brackets. You can get them from Homedepot. I want to do this for my deck. I had a Gazebo up last year. We had a really bad storm and it crushed it. Thank Goodness I had it secured to the deck or it would have flown off and caused damage to the nearby homes
