1. How do the vibrations compare with the Harley counterpart. 2. I've been watching again yours and Fannies series of cruiser reviews. Since that series has your opinions changed at all on your love for the Speedmaster ? If you could only own one motorcycle and you only had to choose between the Speedmaster and Scout which one would you pick ? I've ridden them both and the main reason I'd Iean towards the Speedmaster is because of the two discs on the front . Thanks

Ask Fannie - it’s the Scout. Ask me - Speedmaster. The Harleys were less vibey than the new Chief. I’m sure I’ll get shit for mentioning vibrations...

@@DickWhistles thank you ! I love the Speedmaster. I liked the Scout quite a bit too. I wanted my first cruiser experience to be the Scout and it was. I think the Scout engine is a gem but the brakes, stock seat and ,suspension is better. I like to buy used bikes but I want the improvements of the new '21/'22 Speedmaster. Used '20 are priced almost new. In US '21/'22 are $13,650 + tax, fees ,shipping etc. Shame that Indian has to go w/ push rod crap to expand market share w/HD buyers.

Why didn't you shift into sixth gear on the highway. The 116 is not a sport bike engine. You can shift into sixth gear after you pass 40+mph.

I’m allergic to sixth gears...

We can hear the vibrations affecting your voice.

If I wanted a vibrating machine I would sit on the washing machine during its spin cycle. Its much cheaper and it LOOKS better ! . .

These things are the arse end of mechanical style evolution. I`m not against cruisers and have always hankered after a Sportster. In the huge open spaces of the USA I can see why an Electra Glide and the others evolved. Then it all went too far. You would not cruise this beyond the dealer forecourt and the local poser bar. Pointless when motorcycles should be making a comeback and contributing significantly to reducing travel pollution.

Its gone too far and too fat. Some sort of unenvied ego thing. I ask myself, "WHY" ? .

ANOTHER 16:21 on this big lump ? A Honda C50 is more desirable. I hope that's not too harsh. .

You keep asking ME if you’re too harsh... I’ve split the long video into digestible parts in response to your repeated comments about attention deficits...

@@DickWhistles Sorry, I lost attention half way through that . . . . I am considering buying a Ural Outfit again because of a bad leg and Giant GSD to transport on outings. The 'City', (what a joke !), single wheel drive version. The Ural/Ish Chair combo that I had in 1976 was TREMENDOUS Fun !, and the joy of steering it round single track roads just on throttle and brake is indescribable !! (Also, you can take TWO Blondes to Bike Rally with it. True ;) Why don't you try one ? Once you learn to open throttle and accelerate around the chair's mass to steer one way, and brake to let the chairs mass steer you the other way, you will fall IN LOVE with it ! Note, only a purpose built outfit will handle well, and the Urals/Dnieper's are the Ducatis of the three wheeled world. All other outfits are camels in comparison. You should review one and let me know what you think. Or get a Vespa. .

@@DickWhistles PS. "I hope that's not to harsh" is my new comedic tag line/catch phrase for when I DO say something harsh, but am still holding back. I have others. A Tasmanian Friend keeps sending me adorable pictures of wildlife, kittens and puppies, and my reply is normally, "Yes, but what does it TASTE like " ? Its all just fun and joshing. .

@@a.bloke2.0alwayslearning.23 got it. I mounted a 1952 Swallow Side car to my Enfield. Passed MOT then crashed it into a hedge on the way home as I didn’t understand the centrifugal force of the chair’s wheel when turning left... videos to come.

Indians were no good when the company failed in 1953 and none of the many attempted Indian revivals over the next 60 years produced anything worthwhile either 🤔. The latest attempts by Polaris also miss the mark by trying to be Harleys. Time to give up on the Indian memory.😘
