Good to see videos with negative perspectives just as it is to see ones with nothing but praise. Somewhere in the middle is the sweet spot--- 😎 I think your video was good in more than just the entertainments portion. I own bikes from both companies and for me both produce bikes I like. At the end of the day, really what a person likes is very subjective and very personal. What sucks for you, is the best thing on the road for ten other guys and vice versa. It's each person's money and how they spend it and how good they feel about their purchase and experience is a very subjective and personal thing. Cheers😎

The Indian Super Chief Limited capture a timeless look that never goes out of style - As do The award-winning Thunderstroke engine. Us cycles fans love it. Indian Chief looks beautiful whether naked or fully dressed - and you can customize it (which is a bit the point of a lifestyle bike) Indian Super Chief is Style, Performance, Technology and Rock and roll. If you do not like that... It is not for you. Compact wheelbase makes for a confident ride at every speed - low seat height... It’s a great American-style V-Twin. The rubber-mounted floorboards let you move your feet all over the place (which is key to long-distance comfort) - With those things and stuff like cruise control, the Super Chief is a superb cross-country road tripper minus the bulk of a bigger American touring bike.
@DickWhistles2 жыл бұрын
On paper, all of that sound great. Have you ridden one? It is not a road-tripper. I would argue a “great American v-twin” is not something to aspire to. You mentioned “performance”... Not a word that comes to mind. Thanks for the comment.

@@DickWhistles I had 10 years on Ducati before switching to the Harley-Davidsons. I've had five Harley-Davidson's and am now on my third Indian Motorcycle. Of course, one must learn to like this type of motorcycle. When I replaced the Ducati, I first thought there was something wrong with the Harley - it was not. The Harley was like that. Within a few weeks, after getting to know the bike, everything changed - I've ridden cruisers and baggers for 17 years now - So I understand this type of motorcycle very well. And to answer your question - Yes, I've actually tested Indian's new Chief, and I have friends who have an Indian Super Chief. I am currently riding an Indian Springfield Dark Horse, which for various reasons I preferred over Harley-Davidson's Road King (which is also an excellent bike) - Indian's Super Chief is currently an option when I replace Springfield. However, that change is a bit in the future, and as we all know- a lot can happen until then .

The new Sportster S is US $15,600.In Australia that bike is AUD $26,435 WTF. Interesting to know if you can fit an oil cooler . I'm 5'8 so I'd probably be looking through the windscreen. I prefer mids. Good to see the Indian brand back out there.

Glad I watched this video. Also glad I never bought into cruisers. Test rode a scout and thought it was boring, if this is worse than that we got problems..

And nearly 2 litres capacity! Quite absurd. What possible purpose do they have? The people that buy them are as ridiculous as the things themselves. The carbon FTR is interesting, the rest are pointless Ugly heavy lumps, geriatric vibrators.

how is 100HP bike boring? seriously? Test rides rarely allow time to open up the bikes going 30-50mph is no real test

who needs traction control on a cruiser? You'll be scraping pegs before that's needed.About vibration well you are riding a motorcycle not driving a car which is whole point.Agree on Americans are basically making metric cruisers 20yrs late what Japanese were making.I think Vstar 1300 1700 1900 all great machines 1700 1900 air cooled.Too bad they could not compete with HD all stopped production with one exception Kawasaki 1700 cruiser which is still being made.

@DickWhistles Yeah, but they still did it first... Your review feels like an Amazon review of a product or service by someone who is ignorant of the product, who didn't read the discription, or one who has expectations not related to the product. I don't consider someone who wants to just bash everything, for no arbitrary reason, every thing that isn't to your liking, to be "real" or "honest." Example, poor you, the button isn't placed where your poor thumb wants it to be. What a violation of your fragile sensibilities. Maybe you'd be better off on an electric scooter... as they don't vibrate in a way to make you feel like scheduling a psychiatric appointment so you can feel safe while pointing to where on the little dolly where the motorcycle violated you. There was nearly nothing critical that had merit in your review. It comes off as more of a tantrum. Either it's boring, or your roads are to straight, or the throttle is too sensitive... goodness. Get over it... grow a pair. 🤣😉

In truth, you have to be a Nerd to tell the difference between Harley, Indian or every other American bite bike makers. They have no imagination with all on one theme, the "Chopper", (which first looked like Bobbers). Also, 45:+ is WAY too long to hold my attention on such an average and silly bike. Did I hear you say1800cc producing only 75 BHP ??? Yeah, you need them cubes in case you have to carry a half pound of CHEESE back home ! I would pay someone to take the Bike away. I hope that's not too harsh. .

@@a.bloke2.0alwayslearning.23 You wrote "In truth, you have to be a Nerd to tell the difference between Harley, Indian or every other American bite bike makers. They have no imagination with all on one theme" Hardly the case Harley has been most successful motorcycle producer that everyone tried to Copy Japanese and yes Germans as well and could not succeed.How is Harley Road King lack imagination when its clearly stunning bike and still is.You see how stupid your comments are? If HD didn't have imagination they would not have sold bikes hundreds of thousands so much so that they were the envy of other manufacturers that desperately copied them.Look at Vstar Nomad Vulcan all look like HD and that's no accident.Crusier bikes are about style comfort and torque.HD Indian have that in spades!
