@X Æ A-Xii This type of cars like ferraris, lambos etc. I would NOT recomend to evryone to tuch. "Dry oilpans" with several drain plugs, hoses etc has to be done in order because to NOT GET any "air-rooms" in the oil system". Normal mechanics should not touch this types of cars, it can coast a lot of money. I am mechanic at Volvo cars and can tell you that is FAR AWAY differentses between car and car. @@otarsulava I understand you, but first of evrything you should go throw the education how to properly do this type of service. It is NOT only open the plugs and drain the oil, you must understand the system how to do, and not get "air-rooms" in this "Dry-oilpan" system. It can cause a lot of damage at the start point. I would recommend you to wear safety glasses pulling the oil plug. You don't want synthetic oil in your eyes. Good video.

Those who question about the Castrol Oil being used. Maybe do a bit of research first. If everyone uses OEM, there would be no such thing as competition.

Castrol, consider how badly it performs in short-piston, thin-ringed German cars (or rather, how engines like N63 and old N20, or lots of VAG motors, treat oil), is an "interesting" choice. Motul dealer closed his/hers shop this day, probably. But perhaps F12 is less extreme in overheating department...or has piston ring thicker that mosquito's private part...

Nope , the service is free for the first 7 years. No costs. You can extend to 15 years if you like. They dont charge for anything because the service used to be only parts costs and no labour. Ferrari buyers always tought it was a joke when the salesman told them it would only be 300 dollars. So they made it free.

Oils from barrels doesn't mean it's better. You can order Castrol oil in barrels too but unless you're doing more than 5 Ferrari's a day, it's not worth the cost.

Best Oil CASTROL? 🙂 I must say.. Since I've been Using Castrol and not Shell Oil anymore, my Oil Consumption is much Slower. BMW F01 750I Tuned 500HP and 770NM. How is this possible?

I used to run mobil 1 5w-40 on my BMW X5 and used to burn roughly 1 quart 4500 miles in (5k oil change intervals)…so since the past 1 and a half years I’ve been using Castro 5w-40 and now I can do 5000 miles without any oil loss!

That's burnt from track use, not old. Did you not notice the scrapes on the bottom of the front lip and the light carbon on the throttle bodies? Probably right after a track day and was fresh at the start.

I would be so pissed if I got oil everywhere like that. Boats have a hose from the oil pan that you literally can just stick in a jug or an oil catch can, super neat and clean. Why in the hell would the likes of any supercar manufacturer make certain that you didn't have to soak the car in oil with something as simple as a standard oil change? Geez.

I wouldnt recommend cleaning throttle bodies with brake cleaners tho. They dry out the shafts and cause hick-ups. In worst case replacement

Hola, ya desde hace más de 10 años y por la evolución lógica de la ciencia, los aceites sintéticos duran hasta y depende de marcas y tipos hasta 50,000 Km. De hecho en los carros nuevos ya sólo usan sintético y el primer cambio es entre 30 y 50 mil. A este Ferrari le están poniendo semillas sintético, peor aún, una mezcla de mineral con sintético.

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime.!!!!!!!!!!
