Gawddam, altright, this gonna be a long-ish comment. So i love drums, and i always try to find someone that captures the feeling of the "song" and performance from the drummer in the band, which is hard since I find Matt does his thing incredibly well and personal when playing drums. But mate, GREAT JOB, you hit every mark for my listening and also made it your own take on the song. Great job mate. Also, would you be interested in collab in the future? i have a youtube channel but havent posted stuff in a while. Hey thanks man, I'd say the tuning of the drums is 70% and the rest is micing and mixing. I just aim the mics to where my sticks hit the head, I also prefer lighter EQs and Comps.
