I've been a fan of Cobus for over a decade now, and he finally got the recognition he deserved and has only gotten exponentially better since I saw my first video of his (which was "Face Down" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus). All musicians pay attention to this clip. One musician just appreciating another musician. No downgrading of the other's talent, just enjoying the others' talent. In this business there is a lot of trash talking , knocking other musicians and just plain jealousy. The one thing a musician should never have is a over inflated ego because of 2 things: 1) You are *never* going to know it all and just because you know the technique does not mean you are playing it right. It will never replace feel. 2) You will always find someone better than you. Those are nothing to feel down about, it should inspire you. Not everything is a contest. Well done to both Cobus and Joshua!
