Love this solo bc it sounds really good to the song. So many people just shred and its amazing but it doesn't add to the song. Its just a show off time. This is super melodic and really takes the song to another level even though its not super technical.

It is pretty incredible. They have a way of taking something relatively simple (at least for them) and make it have so much emotion. If you haven’t heard it, listen to the solo on Luck as a Constant. It’s in my top 10 solos ever forcsure

I think the invective sounds pretty cool. I'd guess with pre and post gain you get a lot of tonal possabilites. I think you could even get a decent bass tone that way.

If you just want to play the solo on a 6 string, you can play it on a 1/2 step down tuning.
