Dude, THIS. So many people simply hear noise when listening to bands like Periphery, just because it's heavier at times. I love how Michael brought out all the melodies, themes and nuances here. If this piece doesn't make people see the musicality that Periphery brings to the table, I don't know what will.

Werner, Exactly bro. I think a big part of it is that people listen to a song for 10 seconds, and decide whether they like it or not. That's not what music is about. Real albums take days worth of listens to understand and feel, and I think it's the same with genre. Heavy music takes some time to understand and appreciate, but the masses are happy with simple music with simple lyrics. Fuck that!

Well played! Nice interpretation! There is an odd delay in the recording though - just in this one, other videos of yours seem fine. It's most perceptable in the beginning, when you hit G, Ab, Bb, C. Did you use more than one mic to record this? Might be something wrong with sync. But that's just a side note. Your performance is great!
