PERIPHERY - The Bad Thing [Instrumental] (Naught A Change / Default Mix)

The "Naught A Change" / Default Mix instrumental of Periphery's "The Bad Thing".
Made using the Juggernaut Producer Pack.
Man, the chill part from 3:55 to 4:50 is great. Especially those riffs at 4:22!
When you think about it, though, the vocal melodies for this song are pretty much perfect. The lyrics instantly come to mind when you hear the riffs.
That said, Spencer did a really amazing job on this song. (Like most he does, haha!)
All layers have been left at their default levels. In a sense, this track is just a raw, unmastered instrumental rendition of the song.
Personally, I believe Periphery is meant to have vocals -- Misha himself has also stated the same as well. There is definite space left with vocals in mind (more so over the past few releases), and even that aside, Spencer is very talented in his own right!
Whether it's meant to sound this way, or be mixed into many different variants is up to the band themselves. Regardless, enjoy, and stay tuned for more!

New favorite KZbin channel. I love being able to hear nolly without Spencer's vocals. Now don't get me wrong, spencer is amazing at what he does, but I, being a bass player, like to hear the bass parts in a periphery song. Thanks, dude.

This is awesome. It is the second day when I listen to the Juggernaut Instrumental playlist, and subtle nuances of the vocal-free mix are making me happy. By the way, is there a possibility of you making a downloadable ZIP of all Alpha/Omega instrumentals?

You say that there's no change, but the mastering is different. It's really under-compressed, and the reverb is different.

He didn't un-master it. This is just the way the tracks come in the Producer Pack. Raw stems with no mastering. All he's done is put all the tracks together minus the vocal track and then uploaded it. If he doesn't know how to master, it's much better left this way.
