Image segmentation using pen and touchscreen

Touchscreen and pen can be used to make manual image segmentation faster and more accurate. This is quick demo on a Microsoft Surface Laptop with a Surface Pen.

Would be curious on iPad. Maybe through some remote?

Apple does not offer a pen for desktop software. You can try Wacom pens, and maybe you can use workarounds such as connecting an iPad to a macOS computer. However, if you want to use pen and touch on the desktop then you are much better off using Windows, as it is supported at the operating system level and there are many good hardware to choose from.

I tried it with my iPad pro and apple pencil. I used the iPad with "RD Client" (remote desktop app) to connect it to my Windows workstation, where I worked. There was a bit of input lag, but after a while you get used to it and it becomes less annoying. I also connected my wireless keyboard to my iPad via Bluetooth, to use the shortcuts for the segment editor (e.g. paint, erase, brush size etc.), which made my life a lot easier.
