They should release an extended version of the movie, since a lot of the good parts were taken out. I wouldn't mind an extra 30 min-an hour of the movie if they fixed all the important parts that they excluded into the movie. I feel like they did that because the actual book was so intense, with all the different events that occurred like drug use, rape, molestation, and suicide. So to make it not rated r too I guess, but that's the thing that makes it so much more enjoyable. It's raw

I think Logan Lerman is definitely an amazing actor!!! Seriously, this scene feels so real. I love the movie for it's history, but without him this would have never been the same. This guy is the only Charlie. :3

I thought he was an average actor due to percy jackson but after seeing this and Indignation , this guy will win an oscar one day . This is one of my favorite performances , I knew guy like this in highschool

I would love love love an extended edition of this movie. I would easily buy it again at twice the price for everything to be intact. Maybe I should just read the book already...
@samamar457010 жыл бұрын
argh how have you not read it, it's fucking amazing.. but start with a fresh mind, don't expect it to be the movie, it's got a darker tone
@just2pissuoff354R10 жыл бұрын
Since that comment was posted I have read the book and loved it very much. I don't know which I love more because I feel each one complements the other so perfectly. It's like you really need one to fully understand the other if that makes any sense at all.
@samamar457010 жыл бұрын
exactly, i came away with the book with a lot less of a happy feeling, it's a lot darker and probably more realistic hey.. like the smoking, how sam just straight up laughs at charlies crush on her and tells him she's out of his league etc. and yet it's beautiful in it's own way
@just2pissuoff354R10 жыл бұрын
I loved how Sam was a lot more straightforward but still managed to seem like a fairly good girl. I was blown away when she called Charlie out on all his selfless crap at the end like letting Patrick kiss him and never even trying to pursue her regardless of what she said. I love how the film and book version are night and day of each other but somehow you can almost see them as the same person.

Yeah it was a little off-putting but I think he needed to hear that from the person he cared about most for it to have any effect. I don't think she was going for brutal, just brutally honest, again if that makes sense.

i think they really were all immature frm their past traumas and they tried Charlie so poorly because he had worse trauma and they knew but we’re actually healed enough to help him themselves. Hurt people hurt people

They deleted the best scenes P.S. I didn't know that Addison was the mother of Percy Jackson , Elena Gilbert and Richard Gecko

There's such a flaw in the movie :( The end almost demands the "someday we will just become somebodys dad" due to the final scene in the tunnel. So unfortunate...

it's enough for me now, the pain I feel every day slowly kills me. I miss the time I was happy. can't bear these anymore, but I have nothing to do. I try to be better but again I step into the same, I wish for a miracle that could be my natural death
