My best friend got his pilots license back in our late 20s. We could rent a plane for $55/hour at the little airport in town. We were only charged for time in the air, so we could fly somewhere and hang out for the day and fly back for next to nothing. It was so much fun!

we had a jet back in the day and flew into Aspen several times a year and OMG! was it a sight to see. Picture yourself coasting around in the air and then u have to almost go straight down to get in the runway area which is surrounded by extremely tall mountains. And once u land u gotta bring the plane to an abrupt stop. WOW! We went off the runway more than once :( and taking off out of Aspen is just as scary. You better have a super powerful & fast plane....THANK GOD we did!!!! But...I am sooo happy for you Danna that u get to experience these moments - makes me smile for ya. Take care of her Mr. Hunky Boyfriend!!!

What makes a sanitation worker, worse than a pilot ? I used to date a guy that made cement plots for dead folks . I dated a guy that worked in a factory on the line. I dated a firefighter, and married law enforcement . I dated a guy that layed carpets . He was my best bud even after we broke up . So if it matters to people that what someone does for a living , as long as they can pay their own bills , it's not illegal , then it should not matter
