Great video, My parents have a ten yr old star fruit tree in their backyard(at Redland Bay, where soil is amazing) They heavy trim it every second year to keep it at a manageable height to reach the fruits. Harvest time brings 20 to 30 kilos of star fruits. Enough for all friends and family.

I planted a young panama berry last May(in Qld, near brisbane). I also got a little puppy german shepherd same month, she had other ideas for my panama, like pulling it out and turning it into a pile of mulch. I will plant another one when she is more mature and not a mulch maker anymore.

I'm in northern NSW so very similar climate. I'm waiting probably one more month and then starting cutting back my fruit trees to a more manageable height. It's been very very hot and dry lately so I'm holding off planting until the next rain. Enjoy seeing what you grow and how you manage your food forest.
