Beautiful! Great tutorial. Does putting a crotchet needle through the loc damage it if you decide to remove the extensions?

Not that I know of, I haven't seen any damage so far. But I do plan on cutting them out and trimming my hair instead of removing them tho

I started by just retwisting the front. I felt like it was better for my edges than retightening. Then I waited until my new growth was about an inch or so long and decided to try retwisting my whole head. And that's been my go to method since 😊

I stumbled across your page trying to figure out how to add extensions to already long micro locs. I feel like I’m watching myself. My locs are the same length as yours pre extension and almost the exact same color. I’ve been palm rolling about 6 months and I too put mine in my mouth as I go. I will definitely start using aloe vera. Your locs are beautiful!
