Almost 1 year owned this Axia...very fuel save and happy motoring. The 0w20 motor oil give the best in its class when ride with other cars. I can get almost 19 km/l average in city + highway and green eco mode indicator

I'm 185cm and I tried squeeze myself the exact same model and this is what i feel: Pros: Nice dashboard feel, comfortable steering, very spacious indeed and generally feels a better that VIVA that I own. Cons: My head stuck at the ceiling at the back seat, would prefer the back seat to lean backward a little more. The nonadjustable steering is pretty tricky to get use to since you have to adjust the chair often to fit it. All in all, good car and was thinking of getting one but my instinct tells me, the new Myvi coming soon :)

IMO as a 1.8m guy, the car size is excellent. Its a good first car for short distances. having test drive it, it u drive long distance even between Klang and KL..get Iriz for safety in the ESC which is like guardian angel when you drive above 60kmph on highway. Axia with ABS is sage enuff for inner city drive where ESC wont matter much. Forget about Myvi.

We booked an advance for my sister. Getting it this Friday,less than 3 weeks after booking. If u book G, it will take 3 months. Only yesterday realized that add 3k can get a Iriz CVT 1.3 with ABS and ESC. Dunno why I though iris CVT 1.3 cost rm46k...perhaps the safety kit makes it feel expensive. Sigh We chose the Advance over the cheapest Myvi,because it has ABD. And I concur as a 1.8m person, the Axia is more than sufficient. Its big enough that a tall person like me just slide into the car without hunching as if going into a clown car or a kelisa which we still have. Have to console that the fuel consumption is good for my sis is still a student and we dont travel far anyway even with our sedans which include one BMW,at most we go to Ipoh or Seremban. Regardless, from mynperdpective, if u eant the cheapest car value for money, go for axia advance(coz have ABS and good luxury like features) and Iriz 1.3 CVT/MT for the safety kit. If you are upgrading from Viva and your first second hand car, get Iriz 1.3. Ditch myvi for lack of ABS. Proton should just scrap the equally ABSless Saga and develop a Iriz sedan with ESC and ABS

I kind off like the way perodua does things, it's really easy to tell if someone has gone all out or not. Whereas other brands, I'm looking at you Mercedes, both the cheaper car and expensive car look alike, so practically there's no reason to pay more.

Why does it doesn't comes with 1.3 or 1.5 l with 4 cylinder engine just like myvi with lots of variants. For advance model, with rm42K price tag its quiet pricey with merely 1.0 engine capacity. Definitely still shaking like my viva elite 1.o. Anyway, still a very good review from paultan.org. in fact, my viva elite is still as good as this model.

Avoid Perodua. I have bought this Axia and almost everything has broken after one year. Worst quality car ever produced. I had never regretted buying a car until I had this one. Servicing is much more expensive than Toyota too. Perodua is going to be out of game in future if they come up with cheap quality like this. Embarrassing!
