Severely underrated game. It left a bad taste in people's mouths because SvR was king and made this game look like a demo by comparison, but now that we can look back on it, Impact was an amazing first game for the franchise... at least we all hoped it would be a franchise. It was fast, fun, easy to play and looked better than the Smackdown games, which was quite the accomplishment. Paying full price (was it released as a full priced game, or was it $40?) for this probably led to many of the negative reviews and feedback, but paying the price it costs now, which is five or ten dollars, is definitely worth the cost. Ignore the negative bullshit, get it and have a blast reliving the second best era for TNA.

Here is what most reviewers and critics got wrong about this game... Back in the day, WCW had Nitro and Thunder, which also did not receive the best reviews because it wasn't "WWF Warzone or Attitude". Nitro and Thunder were arcade style, meanwhile Warzone and Attitude were more slow paced and not arcade style. This was TNA's first video game, developed by Midway, who is famous for many arcade video games. Essentially it is a fast pace arcade style wrestling game. It is not designed for simulation, but instead an arcade game. It was a great first attempt at a wrestling game and it was fun to play.

Tna has improved a lot since sucking for the half of the year but then again nothing really special only people I care for is Bobby roode, austin aries, james storm, bobby Lashley, the hardys and the wolves. And WWE can be both amazing and shitty but still up to my interest.

Being a huge TNA fan, idc how good the game may or may not be, I love it. I hope a company can make another good TNA game for next gen. consoles. How crazy the matches would be, and the game would be rated "T". Or maybe "M" for an extreme match with barbed wire tables, (i.e monsters ball matches) Abyss's weapon "Janice", stack tables, overall an extreme based game or game matches, and RULES for normal exhibition, or career. Maybe bring back some legends of TNA, Aj Styles, some people in here as well

I have some gripes with you playing this. I know that this is your first time playing, but it sickens me to watch you guys talk down the superstars, moves and even conventions of the game.
