But I use a sunscreen with a spf of 100 😂 seriously. Vampire approved 😂😂😂 Ladies..use your sunscreen!

I am a firm believer in SPF every day for everyone. When people don't smoke because it's a habit that's bad for their health, but don't wear sunscreen, I just wonder what they are thinking. Or when people eat healthy food or go to the gym or focus on self care in any way, but then don't wear sunscreen to protect themselves... It's such a simple thing that can save someone from a (sometimes) preventable cancer. I just don't understand the logic. And on top of that, it's the easiest way to prevent premature ageing! I hope your procedure went well and you heal quickly, girl.

I have dove headfirst into light coverage and cream, liquid, and gel products over the past year! For the 30+ crowd...I think less starts to become more. Powders start to accentuate the crinkles lol. Especially as a male...not that I really care about people’s opinions..but I live in a small, conservative town in Pennsylvania and a lot of people don’t notice anymore that I have anything on. Like I said, don’t care if they do...but it does make it easier to not have to deal with people’s gawking on the regular lol. 😘

Lighter coverage has always been my favorite. The fullest coverage I’m generally willing use is medium. I’ll only go full if it’s a major event and I’ve had no need for full coverage since I got out of high school, chorus programs and dance recitals. I’m 43 now and agree that less is more.
@pollysshore25395 жыл бұрын
I’ll add I have been fairly blessed so far when it comes to fine lines and wrinkles. It’s the minimum but I have found that some foundations and powders make my skin look like I have more lines & texture than I actually do. Nothing worse than trying a new under eye concealer that makes your skin look like it’s peeling off due to it separating. I usually go thin & light reflecting in that area too, though I’ve fallen in love with Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Away Concealer. It’s the only full coverage I can use, in small amounts, under my eyes that doesn’t bunch or separate. Her powder compact is great too.

If I wear regular makeup outdoors I feel like I must look cakey and am enhancing my wrinkles . I like the more natural look. I bought some of mine at TJMaxx (check expiration date) and Perricone recently had a 50% off sale so I bought everything but the bronzer. I love it all. The mascara is nice, too. Love this review!!! I own some products from this line but not all, you are the first person I have seen do a review like this. PERFECT for the gym, your look is exactly what I do for the gym, I go a little lighter on the brows and the lipbalm I would have just taken my finger and rubbed it in a bit more for that "worn in" natural look. Other than that, your look is my perfect gym look. Makeup makes me feel more confident at the gym, but I do NOT want it to be obvious, has to look like I have no makeup on I just look good lol

The lipstick looks nice. I'm into the balmy types and don't mind continual re-application. Overall, very pretty "no-makeup" look, but I find the entire line a bit gimmicky and really overpriced especially for such limited shade ranges. Have you ever done a Glossier full-face review? That would be a fun one to see you do. I have yet to try any Glossier products, but am always tempted.

If you are not a fan of this brand, you are likely going to feel the exact same way about most of “glossier” products. I actually really, really love the look after you did the perricone makeup. You've got beautiful skin and beautiful features, and that makeup just subtly enhanced your beauty. I think skin that shows minor flaws looks infinitely more beautiful than a full coverage look. When you first put on the eyeshadow, I thought it was the dud of the bunch, but after looking at you with it on, I really liked the look. The only perricone product I've tried is the lipstick, and I love it. It's a wonderful one to throw in the purse! I'm also interested in the gloss, highlight, and concealer! Cost aside for these particular products I LOVE seeing more natural trends coming. I’ve been concerned at the dependence on full coverage makeup, false eyelashes, etc. If you have a special need (bad acne, scarring, severe discoloration, etc) that’s one thing, but I think the average person looks so much more beautiful on the natural side (and I love makeup). A HEALTHY trend in multiple ways 😊

As always, a great video! I've tried the foundation, eyeshadow and lip gloss. The eyeshadow worked well as a base and didn't irritate my red, sensitive eyelids. However, your recommendation of the Garnier BB for oily/combo (much repurchased! ) works well for both face and eyelid (unfortunately COMPLETELY limited in shade). The lip gloss though is one of my favorites! Very serum-like so no real staying power but the color and moisture are great. I keep one in my bathroom and one in my purse. I’ve been using the No Makup Serum Foundation for a couple of weeks now. The jury is still out on it. I do like the lightness of the product, however, when I apply it, it finds all my textured areas and tends to look “cakey”. Have said that, I find that it does look better after I wear it for a while. It seems to disappear on the skin. It is very light coverage. By the end of the day, I’m not sure if it is still there or not. I have not seen any improvements in my skin as of yet, but two weeks is not a very long time for skin care. I did receive it complimentary for reviewing purposes. ~Dana

Honestly, I think the best option for being to achieve the “no makeup”/light makeup look is to invest in a good high coverage liquid foundation and moisturizer and just mix them for a personalized BB cream. Then, you can go back in and apply pin point coverage of foundation over areas that need a bit more coverage, acting as a concealer. Voila! “No makeup” makeup without sacrificing coverage. And you’ll have a high coverage foundation for those special events without having to invest in a ton of products. Saves you money in the complexion department and it’s the best way I’ve found to achieve this look. All you’d really need to add is a brightening concealer, if you want to lighten certain areas or add dimension. As for “no eyeshadow” eyeshadow, I just use my cream bronzer/contour and a dusting of my blush on the lids to achieve this. It kind of “pulls the look together” and gives you that radiant, everything coming from within look. Products I use: Embrylisse Lait Concentrate + Kett Cosmetics Aqua Foundation, but if you want a consumer brand, Cover Fx or MAC is great. RMS Beauty Contour/Bronzer. Blush will vary, but my fave for a natural flush is theBalm Frat Boy.

I also have the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. Used to really like it. Don't care for the finish any more. The Unisex Healthy Glow has knocked it out of the park for my "no makeup" days. Sometimes I use Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour as my bronzer, MaryKay Darling Pink Chromafusion Blush (the one lone powder product), and a Nudestix eye shadow crayon on my eyes along with it, but sometimes just the Unisex Healthy Glow, the eye crayon and mascara. But I am intrigued by the Perricone lipstick.

Thank you for the video. I just looked them up, they're cruelty free. I didn't think they were. Cool! I can try it in the future.

thats a great look on you! i've been going for the natural look lately, a bit of concealer, blush and mascara. as long as the brows are tamed its a complete look!

I really appreciate you delving into ALL brands of makeup. You are the 👑 of Drugstore and as such, I value your thoughts and opinions so much more. Sometimes pricier products, don't necessarily mean better quality. The only thing I own is the blush and I love it. I received it as a sample, and the little vial lasted forever!!!

For that price point, I’ll stick to my Misha Magic M cushion, which has SPF50 PA ++++, for $15-20, & that’s for the original cushion compact & 1 extra product cushion (ie 2 for the $ of 1).

Interesting fact about their mascara from their pro class- it’s a brown Black with maroon base and gold flecks to enhance all eye colors. And it has a dual sided wand, one side for lengthening one side for volume. They have 6 lip shades coming July and 8 foundation shades. Also you can use the blush as a corrector under eyes before concealer.

I’ve always thought with this line of makeup that it’s a great concept but it’s really too sheer and too limited in shades so it may as well just be skincare. They could create some more inclusive makeup in more shades with more coverage and the same great skincare ingredients added, and if the skincare ingredients are excellent, it could be worth the cost. I do agree that a “hidden highlighter” look is so nice, though, and the lipstick is great!

If I am going to spend the time to put on makeup I am not interested in looking like I don't have makeup on lol.. You always look great but this would not work for me. Thanks for the review

This past year or so I have embraced a more "natural" type makeup of using a tinted sunscreen as my foundation and only spot treating with concealer and of course under my eyes. I also MUST powder on my super oily skin. I've been using the Paula's Choice Super-Light Daily Since Defense. It has mineral spf30. I've also been using the Makeup Revolution shape tape dupe for concealer and the Maybelline Fit Me powder. I've been loving this combo since I began using it. You can still see my freckles and a few imperfections through it, but I think it gives me a younger look.

Great video Emily...this is beautiful on you! I still have'nt gotten to try the Bareminerals Foundation yet or the Bare Rescue, I've wanted to try this for it seems like forever now, lol. I have soo many foundations and makeup in general that need's to be used before I buy anymore. Thanks for the video, have a nice week and I'll see you soon...Ly! xox

I received the newly formulated serum foundation through influenster and actually really like it. I had tried it years ago and the new formulation is better. I use it with The Born this way too faced concealer and that gives me all the coverage I need if I spot conceal first.

Great, thorough review as always! I've been applying the same Perricone foundation with a brush and the coverage is MUCH better. I've even been able to cover my moderate rosacea with just a couple of pumps.

I just purchased the blush and mascara. I usually use Lancôme Définicils and was not expecting to like the mascara at all. Surprisingly, I love it! It's currently on sale 40% off with the rest of the makeup on their website.

I was so excited to see you post this that I gasped very loudly (I mean what else is new?). My husband said “what?!?” I said “Emily Noel posted a video and I’m excited!” He said “oh I thought it was something important.” I said “excuse me it IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!”

Just an FYI for anyone interested; a bunch of the Perricone stuff is starting to show up at TJMaxx. I saw the No Makeup Serum Foundation (for $19.99!) there several times in the last few weeks. I've also seen the Concealer and of course a ton of the skincare.

2 things: I have become a "no makeup" makeup person over the last year and after seeing this, I think I might invest in the products because they do appeal to me (other than price but I'll deal) because they seem simple enough and have skin care ingredients. The other thing is, I don't know what's wrong with Cupcake, but if you are dealing with any kind of feeding issues, try either tuna soup (soupy tuna) or liver wurst/braunschweiger soup (soupy liver wurst). I have had cats all my life and one of those 2 "soups" has always make a sick cat decide to have a bowl of soup😻

I’ve always been super curious about Perricone makeup products but never pulled the trigger due to the price and lack of reviews of this brand. So, thank you for reviewing these products for us. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend. Love you, Emily!!❤️😘 xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Hey Emily I would love if you did a video reviewing different sunscreens you've tried, in regards to how they look under makeup and how they feel and what not. I have rosacea and I guess I am supposed to stay away from chemical sunscreens and use physical sunscreens instead. I'd love to hear your opinion on some different ones!

I jumped on this whole line about a year ago after Lisa Eldridge recommended it (and yes, it is expensive). Unfortunately for me (maybe it's the silicone) it spotlighted every pore no matter how I applied it (fingers, beauty blender, WG foundation brush, RT foundation brush, the Sephora brush you used), the blush and bronzer would grab and dry too quickly to blend well, and the highlighter searched out new crows-feet I didn't realize I had . I REALLY wanted to love it, but it didn't love me. Looks fabulous on you, however. I'm going to try the Armani Neo Nude line which I've had my eye on for some time. If that doesn't work for me, I'm giving up trying no-makeup for a while. I had missed seeing the Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Highlight, thanks for the heads-up on that and the MAC Perm Me Up Mascara.

Emily!! I’m so glad you combined the blush and highlight at the end of the video. I was going to comment that I would like you to try that. 🤗 #greatmindsthinkalike Do you think these products will be in your travel bag in Destin? Just seems like it would be perfect on freshly sun-kissed skin. 🌞

As I'm 40 now, I like this no makeup makeup look. Of course it doesn't cover my blemishes and sun spot. But I don't look sick and I look good in photos, that's enough. And perricone blush really caught my eyes here. Thank you for sharing
