It is a very generic pop song, which can be a great thing in terms of popularity, but there are too many lyrics in the verse. Even the pre-chorus is too messy! Instead, the chorus and the adlibs are exquisite. It’s a perfect single, yet a bit generic to be the debut one.

It’s too basic teen girl pop for me. It sounds like everyone else but people will eat it up because it’s perrie .she didn’t even write it ED Sheeran did which I mean it kinda shows she was looking for chart success over doing something from the heart.
