Still a tear-jerker today, this segment of Perry Como's Kraft Music Hall aired live on March 4, 1965, about 3 weeks after the legendary Nat King Cole died at age 45 on February 15th. Perry and Lena trade off singing Nat's signature songs in this lengthy medley previously uploaded years ago, but this is a quality upgrade. Notice the rapturous applause from the audience the second song into the medley when it became apparent that something very special was happening. Everyone loved Nat and were still grieving his loss. And still are today, too.
