I have had 1 box of Perry British. I do quite like them. One of the few plastic sets that I think the command are good enough for me to use. I am sure you will do a fine job on those.

I like their early Napoleonic British but i wont keep them any more so its an expense in metal if i cant sell them . Regards Gav.

Hi Gav, I wish you the best of luck with these mate. I have made plastic models most of my life, but when I attempted these, I was almost pulling my hair out. The sameyness of the pose was a bit of a put off for me and it is bit of a shame, because the detail is very good. I did succeed in the end and I must say that they paint up well. look forward to seeing how they turn out mate because after all, your painting skills are very inspiring.

I prefer metal but im glad they make plastic,as i just couldn't afford to collect some periods in metal simple logistics in my book, does concern me on how much plastic is involved in the hobby these days for environmental reasons more than there failings as a miniature. stay safe and healthy.

Its the cost of metal that makes my eyes water i love the iron duke miniature Indian Mutiny Range but i could never fund it especially just to collect and i do look at the Perry early Napoleonic for India and i still shake with the cost . Regards Gav.

I like the weight of metal figures, they're just a lot more reassuring to use imho. The Perrys kit suffers from the issue most plastic kits too - not enough of each pose! Lol.

Don't say that about the poses Cal i just bought a box of French ! Regards Gav.

Nice work with putting together the figures Gav. I hate putting together plastic figures. Painting is fine but not the construction of them.

I used to only like buying metal minis. Now I just about only buy plastic and resin. So much easier to work with.

To be honest i am happy with metal but if i am selling its a lot to invest if they don't sell and they often don't . Regards Gav.
