WSI is on a roll. The Scott Norton and Perry Saturn interviews have been pretty Epic. Hope you bring them both back in the near future. I always liked Scott Norton but didn't know much about him. I know a little bit more about Perry Saturn but he doesn't hold back and I love it. Both interviews were very interesting. If he comes back I'd like a little more detail on the fights between him and Bigelow in the locker room. I don't know if he meant physical or verbal or both. Well done James!

His friends were Jeff Marek and Chris Tidwell from The LAW. Story is they called Jimmy Korderas and filled him in, which lead to Bruce getting the call. It is actually pretty crazy how quick it all happened over a week/weekend

I also think Benoit wasn't holding that title for long especially after Kevin Nash came out at the end and said the clock is ticking. I think if they stayed Perry was right that they wouldn't be used well and probably losing more matches than winning so going to the WWF as a great call.

Jim Ross said on one of his podcasts is that they (WWF) couldn’t have talked to Douglas even if they really wanted to, because Shane was still under contract & they didn’t want to cause any legal rumbles there; Ross said that everyone else were free agents & Douglas wasn’t. But the whole situation was shitty nonetheless….

Eddie Guerrero also admitted that they lied to Shane in his own shoot 22 years ago, Eddie said that he had the same amount of love for Shane as he did for the rest of the guys but that he wasn’t gonna hesitate to leave bc Shane or one of the other guys wasn’t sure.

That sucks but understand on both sides!! Who knows what if Kevin wasn’t the Booker at the time.!! When saturn & Raven was teaming again before he left was awesome. Benoit & Malenko as a team was gold.! Like or dislike Shane I’ve enjoyed his work here & there and could cut a promo decently.! What if you had Shane d with the radicalz especially as the mouthpiece.! I think it would’ve worked but Benoit was better at becoming a main eventer then Shane d!!! Saturn is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time**...I enjoyed Saturn's 1st and 2nd runs of shoot interviews. Im stoked that he's back for another run. I just hope hes getting paid what he is worth. **I do think WWE eventually got lost with him...trying to do Al Snow/Head pt 2 with him and the mop was stupid and Perry Saturn in a dress was horrible. Theres nothing funny about that. That said...in the beginning with the Radikalz(or whatever stupid spelling WWE used)he was great, they all were. And he had periodic great booking in both WWE and WCW. Over all i have big love and respect for the man.

Depends. If you're an ECW fan then he was a massive part of ECW. And his work from '94 until he went to the WWF and then when he returned and did the feud with the Pitbulls was excellent (particularly the latter). After that he worked injured way too much, got way too big from the roids and his promos got worse because he made it a point to just swear all of the time in them for the cheap pop. But during those timeframes I mentioned of Shane's peak, his in-ring work and promos were just excellent. And I go back to the feud with the Pitbulls when he was the hottest heel in pro wrestling. It also should be mentioned that Shane was a locker room leader in ECW. He took time with so many of the younger talent to help mentor them and was really a positive force. Not many top guys in any promotion were ever like that.

I'm not 100 percent sure on this but I remember hearing something to the effect of Perry was trying to stop a woman from being assaulted/r**ed and got shot by some dude. Perry suffered brain damage from it and started using narcotics and it was all down hill from there. The fact he's still alive is awesome.
