Perry, I love all this. It genuinely works and you've provided great reason for why it does. In the name of furthering people's health, the one suggestion I would make is to do the full exercise outside with a shoulder to the sun as it is rising or setting with the eyes closed, in a metronome pattern. That practice is called "sunning" by Meir Schneider, and it is his second suggestion to helping rehabilitate poor vision. He was born blind and rehabilitated his vision completely. The reason to use the sun instead of a flashlight is because sunlight carries the entire light spectrum rather than just the one wavelength of blue light coming out of the flashlight. As you were speaking, I also thought about how people who play wind instruments and beatbox with tongue movements, humming, etc, get the nervous system benefits of toning down their sympathetic state. Muchos gracias. Merry Christmas!

Love this , I was laughing at myself which in itself helps the parasympathetic system. Also took several deep breaths/sighs which lets you know it’s working.
@stopchasingpain
@stopchasingpain 8 күн бұрын
That is 100% correct. The laughing is a bonus on the healing department. Now you know a lot of the neurology behind it. Laughing also stimulates the vagus nerve.

Hello Dr Perry, it's really fascinating what you're doing. Love all your work and really, really thankful for it! I watched most of your podcasts and videos. Very interesting content always. Since the body works as one whole organism , then there is a connection between having fibroids, which causes chronic anemia with continuous nausea, tachycardia, difficulty breathing, whole body ache, brain fog,anxiety/depression and, of course, lymph backed up. All that is a cause of the autonomic system disregulation sympathetic dominance, which is triggered by a toxic environment and emotions....Now that physical manifestation is so intense that it almost doesn't allow easily to straighten that loop
@stopchasingpain

Thank you very much for the kind comment. And the autonomic dysregulation causes a lot of those symptoms in and of itself.

Dr. Perry, love this!!! It felt so refreshing!! And thank you so very much for all your work!! It means so much that you help thousands of people to get rid of the pain everyday. Also, could you please be so kind to do a video about on how to make your sphenoid bone in the skull go back to its proper position? There is some information on the Internet about how sphenoid's displacement can cause severe headaches and muscle tension as well as very noticeable face asymmetry, but there is almost no information about how to fix this issue. It would be lifesaving to find a solution to this problem.

Hahaha that was a good giggle, my nervous system is happy with that giggling too thank you 😁 I can see that this video will help for what I’m about to ask but I’m curious if you’ve already done anything for or may consider doing any videos for the muscle group that works the pharynx/larynx nervous response. I’ve been working on this since Covid over a year ago, which has left me with what feels like restriction in this larynx/pharynx area, that parasympathetic feeling of a lump in the throat like when you cry. This has been leading to what feels like tracheal restriction or whistling and sometimes lung wheezing. Been working on my neck and thoracic muscles (vibrating massage ball arrived today yay), my lymphatics, my fascia, diaphragmatic breathing and my vagus nerve for this already. I’m improving and moving in the right direction, albeit slowly, just wondering if you’ve experience of this in your practice and might have other suggestions. Thank you for all your videos! Very grateful for you and your work 😁😘🌈🕊️🌟

Thank You❗ Adding this to your big six lymphatic exercises which I do daily. I got injured in a gym accident going on 2 yrs doing lat pull down reps with 165# on when the cable system broke & the bar smashed down on my head💥 Got concussed & cervical injuries + my hyoid bone smashed down into my thyroid sheath where it's lodged & pinches my airway. Swallowing & breathing is not right & laboured & I get fatigued & have constant Tension in my traps, neck & down into & below my shoulders. Had imaging, some chiro work & atlas orthogonal setting last year which helped a lot but I'm unable to shake off all this Compressed Tension. I think this exercise will help as I feel there's some nerve issues too. Any suggestions for this or other possible exercises to help my condition❓ The humming seems to also be a good thing!

That is a sign she needs to slow down. Too much stimulation and the body goes fight or flight as opposed to parasympathetic. Only do one cranial nerve at a time in the beginning. Don't stack all together.

This resonates with me a lot. I'm bed ridden due to back pain for the past 14 month's. No doctor can figure it out. No abnormalities in my back on any scans. I know that my body is in sympathetic fight or flight from what's going on with my body. My back pain is dull but debilitating. I need to have my legs elevated when laying on my back otherwise it feels like it's compressing. So weird, I'm struggling everyday and struggling to find help. Do you have online consultation? I'd love to talk to you. Thanks.
