+Johnny Morrison Hey Johnny! + I would really like to ask you some questions. I am writing a novel and i have a character who is, so do i think, a little bit lackluster. So if you could help me understand the time, i would be really grateful. You can remain anonymous. The questions are easy like: Did you like Gmünd? Your nicest memory? My email-adress is jessycuore@yahoo.de, if you send me an e-mail i can send you the survey. Thank You!

I served as a 52D in BCo 55th Support on Wiley Barracks 85-86 as a new private out of AIT and quickly learned how vital our mission was. Proud to have served with my Pershing brothers and sisters in arms.

I had the honor of serving in D 1-9 FA, fired the last battery set in January 1988 before ultimately headed to 56th FA CMD and serving as MG Bean's Chief of Op when we inactived 1-9th FA here which was the same time Sadam Hussein invade Kuwait. After we sent the warheads home I served MG BEan as his PAO. He was a great leader. Calm and dignified. SAd he is no longer with us.

Hey this is probably late, but my dad was a SFC with the 56th Field Artillery Brigade/Command. If anyone here knows "Sgt Mac" he's looking for a recruiting vhs for Pershing (supposedly one of my "uncles" is in the video). He'd like to have it for posterity. Any help tracking it down would be greatly appreciated.

I was a 15E in Bravo 1/81 in Neu Ulm, 1984-86. Would like to get in touch with anyone there at the same time. There were some hardships, but mostly I just have great memories of traveling around Germany during my free time and making a lot of German friends, one of which I am still in contact with. I have been back several times...Wiley Kaserne is now low (no) income housing for refugees. I think the locals would have preferred the GIs, even tho we presented some problems for them too no doubt.

I was an 11B in Ammo Plt, HHB 1/81FA, 1984-85. Good duty, lots of field time, we did a lot of aggressor work on the firing batteries; there was a while when ever they went out, we were out too, constantly. For all I know, I walked right by you on one of many raids. Neu Ulm was a wonderful city, took my wife to Germany in 2013. We stayed "Das Schieffes Haus" hotel and visited the Munster and Wiley area. Weird being on the same streets with all new modern looking buildings.

Served Neu Ulm, 1974-1976 - 1st of the 81st - A Battery, 2nd Platoon. Worked several crew position, and drove the fuel truck the last 6 months of my time there. Last visit to Wiley Kaserne was summer 1999, stopped at near-by guest house for lunch, she said they missed the GI's. Also went downtown Ulm and visited the Munster. Still awesome. Lost all contact with old army buddies from the time there... hope they are well. We had some good time together. Enjoyed the small guest houses in Inneringen, where our missile site was. Great food and beers! Highlight was going to an Oktoberfest in Munich!
