Some cats can find baths & blow dryers to be a bit stressfull, That's my guess thats why the cats was panting. When the cat was being shaven, it appeared that the cat was not stressed and seemed to be very cooperative with the groomer ( full disclaimer: I skipped a few seconds of the video here & there). Side note: Persian Cats are also more likely to pant easier\more often than other breeds because of their narrow nostrils & the shape of their snout. I say the grommer did an excellent job grooming a un-sedated & un-restrained cat. This cat also seemed to be pretty accepting of most of the grooming process (which is also a huge help!) . As a force-free cat exclusive groomer myself, I think the groomer in this video gets 4 paws up🐾🐾 and say he did a wonderful groom on this cat ❣️ 💯❣️

A panting cat is a stressed cat, this cat was stressed all throughout the grooming experience. Glad this groomer was able to do it as fast as possible without compromising quality of the grooming.

All the comments about the cat not enjoying the groom are exaggerated. Not really cat likes being groomed, but the fact the groomer was able to put the cat in different positions shows that he was relaxed enough to complete it. Cats hide when they’re in pain not pissed lol.

Lol! Oh wow, well...the kitty started off strong, but was no match for the blow dryer lol. Omg the way he was panting and the groomer kinda seemed a bit heavy handed at the end...took it like champ. Looked like a little fluffy cotton ball at the end lol. Adorable! The way the groomer did that blow out technique they do on people lol. Smh lol.

i just use only one curve scissor,a righthanded curve scissors,i just flip it to use on other position,,i usually used it to make a style of my grooming

When my cat had ringworm I only shave the affected part and an inch around it. Then i applied vetnoderm daily. He is fully healed now and his fur grows back like normal. No more trace of ringworm. 😊 You also need to disinfect your house so it wont go back.

for the hair to grow back it will take 2-3months to back to normal hair,my cat also a persian,,i don't know any ways to stop the shedding but you cat lessen the shedded hair by brush more often,like 2 times a day it will works

Something must be wrong with me. I was having my cat on my lap and sometimes I have the strongest urge to just take some scissors and lop off the two inch chops of fur sticking off the side of my cats face. I think maybe it's a light ocd thing or something. With a lot of things I feel like I have to make things even and smooth. idk. So I looked up this video because I don't wanna lop off my cats excess fur just for my ocd tendencies. I have to say it was probably more satisfying than it should have been for me when I watched the guy trim off the chops on the side of the cats face, lol.

Your blade was way to dull, if you ever have to push that hard your blade needs to be sharpened of changed. The oneisall Cat Grooming Clippers are phenomenal for grooming your cat at home. It's super quiet and feels like a brush to them you can order one on Amazon and way cheaper than paying a groomer Everytime. Cats are prone to stress related heart attacks and do much better at home than at the groomers. I treat my Persians like I treat my kids and I don't think he held up to that standard.. Professional groomers should know when to change the blade and know how to deescalate the situation when the cats get stressed.
