Released in 2016 the Persol PO8649 combines two of the most iconic Persol models the PO0649 and the Persol Cellor. The PO8649S has become one of the most exciting pair of sunglasses that Persol has released in years. Is it worth all the hype? If the point you are talking about is at the is at the 1:54 mark those two frames are the Persol PO3132 Folding Cellor and The Persol PO0714 (Not a 649 but the folding adaptation of the of the 649). how your persol 714 middle bridge bending mechanism holds up after years of opening and closing?

Fairly well. I have 3 714 and I wear them here pretty frequently. I do my best to tighten them every time I feel that they are becoming loose which has been maybe once or twice a year.

Dapper Tan yeah my biggest concern is the acetate to break i mean the screws i can tighten them no problem but if the acetate breaks there its bye bye 🥺

@@Berindei_Stefan I have no problems with that at all. Again I wear mine a lot but I have 3 different pairs of the 714 and several other pairs that that I rotate trough but I haven't even heard of that happing.
