I'm so excited to finally hear the story behind your moniker after all these years! 😂 And I'm always delighted to hear as much as I can about Amouage, my favorite house!

The packaging represents a wormhole. Time travel back to the 1920s.

I like the 1920s reference with the cigarettes that were smoked back then and contrasting that with what women were expected to do ie. be nice virginal white flowers through which the smoky resinous/dirty tones are trying to break through. Connects beautifully to 1980s with Madonna basically saying to her Papa that she’s still his baby. The bottle having so many colors is very fitting too. I freaking love Portrayal woman and it’s right up there for me with Guerlain Angelique noir as the top 2 fragrances I’d pack if that’s all I could have.

The Violet Leaf is a big part of the opening with the Cade oil blooming after 1/2 hour or so. More complex than the 3 listed notes would suggest.

Oh my gosh, I loved this Scene, despite the KZbin quirks. (Or maybe the quirks just added to the fun and the naturalness.) The chat replay was entertaining too; you make the viewers feel like we're at a warm, welcoming gathering in your home. Now I want to run out and purchase these new Amouages!

When you were referencing eighties masculines were you thinking of Dior Jules by any chance?
@Persolaise5 жыл бұрын
Michael M Actually, no, at that moment, I wasn’t, but that’s certainly a relevant one to bring up. The Amouage doesn’t have the fougere structure of Jules, though. It is much closer to a vanillic wood like Heritage.
