Just hearing it feels like a trip back into time when it was the age of PS1, Makes me feel young again, like the age of the protagonist. Honestly this is my most favorite version of the Velvet Room theme (with the the Gymnopedie version being my favorite Velvet Room Track overall). I really wish Atlus didnt reuse the same Velvet room theme from Persona 3 for 4 and 5 just for the consistency. By the way I think Persona 2 is a masterpiece so far and definitely deserves a remake (along with 1) and having a chance of putting it's characters in more Persona spin offs. Actually, I'm quite sure that Isamu Tanonaka didn't pass away BEFORE Persona 4 was made (hence how Igor still spoke to the MC near the end of the game in the True Ending), he passed away AFTER, which is why in P4 the Animation and Persona 4 the Ultimate In Mayonaka Arena there is practically no real dialogue from Igor besides the same archived dialogue he's said in P3 and P4.

There is no singer. Just the sound engineer created some amazing synthetic "aah" and "ooh" sound sample. They probably loaded it onto some vintage yamaha synth and recorded it. The music file in the Playstation disc are just PS version midis

For me the plot is the most important thing in a game. Gameplay is important too. If it's broken, the game is not worth playing, no matter how good the plot actually is. That, however, is not the case with p1 and p2. The gameplay is not broken, only outdated, and, sincerely, on some aspects I prefer it better. It doesn't get as tiring and repetitive as p3/p4's. I can understand why people are turned off by these things, though. Unfortunately people tend to overlook plot in favor of graphics
