If you want to experience original P3 in it's purest form (jank and all) you go with FES. If you want Hamuko and the QoL features P4 brought to the series (at the cost of visual novel exploration and cut scenes) then you go with Portable. But as I say in the video, Reload isn't bad, and if you started with P5 or any other recent Atlus games, you probably should just play Reload. Reload is only disappointing if you've already spent years playing and replaying P3 and as result expect the moon out of a remake when they can only supply you the stars.

Tbh I'd only recommend portable after experiencing FES or Reload. I love what FeMC brings to P3, but despite that I don't think it's worth sacrificing the interactivity and immersive factor of the former games for.

@@YuriTCC beat both, played reload, added the femc mod. it’s all peak. yeah, i feel like reload loses some of the impact, but 3 is my second favorite rn :)

I played persona 3 P on xbox never played p3 but i was that guy played P5 and now im trying to play all personas on xbox. Persona 3 R looks good, need better writing especially social link i feel bored like P3 P but on P3 P something in that game like u said was better tartarus was fun to play P3 P, Easter eggs on P3 P with P4 was amazing but they removed especially the teacher on the beach i got mad why atlus.
