I enjoyed p3r, mind you its not perfect with the missing content from FES and the female protag from portable not being playable but its a nice and accesable way to play persona 3 without having to spend hundreds on a copy and a ps2 or a backwards compatable ps3

I've never played any Persona games and thought I'd try Persona 3 Reload since it was on Game Pass. The beginning of the game is extremely boring. I didn't know what to expect from the game but I was hoping for some kind of gameplay but it's been nothing but walking back and forth from school to the dorm and talking. When does it actually involve gameplay?

There is gameplay, persona games take a bit to get through the tutorial. If you haven't had the first tutorial fight it should be on like the 3rd or 4th day. Persona games are bad about this

It's not a bad game, especially if you enjoy turn based combat but I do wish the story would pick up a little bit faster. I think it took about 2 hours to get to the tower. The story is definitely interesting. So hopefully the game will start to open up now.

It picks up faster there's more social links a sense of urgency over arching plot points and a constant mystery being uncovered. Even the turn based gameplay of 5r has a little more going for it.

I’ve got about 50 hours in it and loved the original way back 15 years ago or whenever it was; so was looking forward to it, and it has been a letdown, especially with the hefty price tag. It’s sort of blowing my mind that there are zero negative reviews from journalists on this. There are so many things wrong with this game, yet none are mentioned and it’s being hailed as a faultless game. It makes me feel like the journalists don’t have the hours invested in as they advertise, or they’re paid off, or they’ve got terrible taste…. I never buy games for full price on release date, and this is proof why…

I made pre-download played Persona 3 Reload just few minutes after the release and you know what? Boring as f#cking hell. A 89 for persona 3R is outrageous. The visual is so cool and I really like it, as are the enviroments, but the combat.... Man, it is a poor dungeon crawler made by lazy developers with no challenge, no fun, no originality. The dungeons would be amazing if they were a complement of the nice visuals, with a tatical combat or ATB and a decent level design, but we all know this is not the case. Fellas, don't buy, don't install it from gamepass and don't even torrent it.
