I love that in Ken's link events before 10/4 he shows very obvious signs that he's suicidal, like how he's basically already written a will of sorts by saying he's gonna give everything he owns to you "just in case" he dies "in battle", in the OG Ken being suicidal is a plot point for 3 text boxes until Shinji dies, so I'm glad they gave Ken the foreshadowing he needed.

This scene made me feel things man, like I had tears welling up and I barely react to sad things. The voice acting in this scene is more impactful than the original, also how Akihiko grabbed Shinji’s hand and saying “I’ll take care of them” and Koromaru crying while lifting up Shinji’s hand was so sad. When I had completed this scene and the ones that follow after I went to bed. When I woke up in the morning and got back on and I felt nothing but emptiness, I was legitimately so pissed off when Changing Seasons, Iwatodai Dorms, and When Moon Reaching out Stars were playing right after the day Shinjiro died. Also I love that Persona is conservative with cuss words so when Shinjiro said “Shut the fuck up” that shit had impact. Last thing, when you get one of Shinjiro’s outfits from Tartarus after 10/4 the dialogue when getting it is “An outfit for Shinjiro, but he isn’t here anymore…”. When I saw that on Twitter it broke me ngl. Sorry for the long comment, Shinjiro is a real one.

This whole scene is screwed up. Takaya confirming that Ken was planning to end it all after killing Shinji is messed up. 4th graders should be thinking about what will be for dinner and who to play with at recess, not how to end your own life.

I slightly prefer the original scene over the Reload version. Shinjiro's body was slowly fading with the drugs, he got shot in the gut, and got shot in the back. Bro just says fuck that shit, stands up and walks off for a bit while giving his final words before finally succumbing and dying.
