Narukami really is the chad protagonist. He's the only one who is unambiguously loved by everyone. Makoto is a weird introverted Emo kid and Joker may very well be cooler in some regards but gets shitted on by everyone in canon because they think he's a criminal. Narukami is not only loved by pretty much everyone but can do so while also not being a Mary Sue because he is a massive weirdo on top of being the ideal man.

I consider P4 Golden to be my favorite game in the series. The sad part of this is however, that you can't really admit to this without at least one person, telling you, that P4 is a "shitty" game, because it's "too happy go lucky". And that's the reason why i came to really dislike the fandom nowadays. I mean, all the Persona games are great and if someone enjoys P3 more, that's fine. It just so happened, that i enjoyed P4 Golden a little bit more. Let everyone enjoy their own tastes. Yeah, I was literally shocked to hear that p4 was getting hated on, It’s also because I knew the game when it was still niche: No anime, No awards, No Hiimdaisy, No spin-offs, nothing. I’m proud to have seen it grown so much and I really love the happy look of it, it’s unique from all the nitty-gritty action games and makes the dark content really surprising and intriguing. I think Persona 4 is still so wildly alive because of its characters. I don't think anyone likes Morgana, but there are a fair amount of people who love Teddie, muself included, & all of the rest of the team feel like not just a team, but a tight knit group of friends that you actually, legitimately care about. S.E.E.S & the Phantom Thieves can occasionally feel more like co-workers than best friends, but the down time you spend with the Investigation Team, & their dynamic as a whole makes them feel much more close & I think people like that comfortable feeling of being in a tight knit group of ride-or-die best friends

Yu and Rise pair off as he teaches her how to ski, Yukiko and Teddie race down the slopes like madmen, Kanji tries to teach Naoto to ski (with middling success), and Yosuke and Chie rip it up on snowboards together. Rise is so obviously the one for Yu. Fitting as she's the Lovers Arcana. As for Yukiko and Teddie, Yukiko shows affection to Teddie at times throughout the game, while Rise is mostly just annoyed with him. The more obvious match for him would have to be Yukiko. Plus he hits on her far more often than he does Rise. P.S. I was really hoping Dojima would've arrested Teddie when he started hitting on Nanako. I wouldn't let the creepy little bastard within 500 yards of her.

Nah, Yosuke and Chie is just gross, makes no sense and has no chance. Knowing Persona games and characterization is enough to notice it. This is pair the spare as hell, like two characters just breathing the same air or be platonic siblings, it makes no sense. Platonic exsists. Yosuke, Chie is same as Eikichi, Lisa and Junpei, Yukari platonic siblings at most dynamic in persona games, it's easy to notice the trope and we all know how it is. Lisa, Yukari, Chie is just no chance. Chie is genuinely uncomfortable with the idea and genuine state fact she would never be into Yosuke as well like Lisa and Yukari to Eikichi and Junpei. It's just uncomfortable and disrepectful. Even to characters themselves is an insult to both and characterization of first two party members. Hell Morgana and Ryuji like Magician and Chariot. Fact is they would never be into each other. These dynamics are friends that care like Yukari worried for Junpei's survival to talk to him in Chidori arc or Chie went helping Yosuke and Yu out at Junes to make up for dumb thing prior or Eikichi and Lisa worried for each other. But all of them are just incompatible in the first place, it's their characters. And Yosuke dunk on her as a girl and state genuinely he is not interested like Eikichi and Junpei to Lisa and Yukari when it comes down to it. Platonic friends take that but this's toxic as hell. It's an insult to both characters. Eikichi, Junpei, Yosuke like traditional feminine girls (Yukiko, Rise) and not tomboyish snappy girls who are their basic sisters like Lisa, Yukari, Chie. Yosuke has chance with Labrys or Yu.
