I found this romance to be more touching than the other girls, because of the simple fact that Chie has a really amazing personality, but is often overshadowed by the other female characters you are more likely to pick/non-harem. Chie's speech about how she still can't believe Yu chose her over the other girls is both sweet and heartbreaking at the same time, because for most people, she's not their first choice. It made this one stand out from some of the other romances with the popular/mysterious/unobtainable type female characters.

@@Zerhapy doesn't have any reason to believe that any of the girls would be happier with another boy than you. Independent which girl you choose to date - unless you do harem route -, in all romance scenes they demonstrate an inconditional love for you and is clearly that they're very happy in your side, so it's pointless worry about this. I can say I understand Kanji and Naoto hints. I personally love Naoto (Chie's still my favourite, but Naoto is incredible too) and I can't date her because of the bro code. For Chie and Yosuke, for real, in the entire game we didn't see any hint for a romantic relationship between the two. Plus, you can see that Chie and Naoto are the only girls that Yosuke never tried to score. Naoto he probably didn't score because he respects Kanji's feelings, but he had several oportunities to score Chie and even so he didn't, and we have too that scene in the food court where Chie is questioned if she would date Yosuke and she answers "no chance". If the hints you're talking about are the scenes where they argue, I don't seem nothing in this view. For me, that scene only prove that the two have only a siblings-like relationship

chie attracts me a lot in terms of personality, she is the best girl of the party, the problem with her is that she pulls the side of friendship much more than romance. but i am undecided between her is naoto. for me all the girls end up having some "problem" naoto: my favorite, although i would like to see her more out of the character "detective", and gives the impression that you are stealing her from kanji yukiko: for some reason she doesn't have an attractive personality for the novel, despite being pretty. of the girls in the party is my least favorite. rise: almost perfect, but I don't like how her path tries to play the player in a romance with her, and her advances in this romance with player (it might not be cool to win over a heroine who has already claimed to be for you from the beginning)

For me, in all Persona games there are 2 romances that stand out above the others: P3: -I have conflicts in P3 since I love Yukari but Mitsuru in the speech she defends the MC in which she confesses that she loves him for the first time is incredible. - P4: Marie and Rise (Don't get me wrong, I love Chie but I can't see her as anything more than my best friend), a lot of people are upset that Rise kind of claims you for herself from the beginning, but I love the conflict she has about the different masks that we all wear in front of society and what it means to be you. Plus, it seems to me that she is the one with the best prospects for a long-term relationship. Marie is Marie... there is nothing more to say - P5: Makoto and Violet (Ann is Chie: she is my best friend), Makoto, although I don't like her SL as much as the previous ones, it seems to me that she has the best interactions with Joker in the base game, their personalities have a good match and It seems to me that it is the one that offers the best long-term relationship. Violet (to avoid spoilers) is literally made to be Joker's default girlfriend which is why she is incredible.

Something I hate about Persona games is that no matter which girl you choose, it will never be revealed to others that you have an affair. Yukari herself tells you that she is jealous of Fuuka and I don't doubt that she would like to tell the others not to flirt with you. In Persona 4, If I date X girl who is not Rise, it would be good if they told Rise to stop with his attempts to flirt with you. P5 When Ryuji talks about Ann and she is your girlfriend, it would be nice to be able to tell him to respect your relationship with her. You could enable a certain path to avoid telling the others and thus not damage the harem routes.

Yu and Chie is peak for me. Chie is just really relateable. Mine choice is Yukari and Chie. Knowing shoujo and harem manga logic. It's Yukari and Chie the most likely ones for the MCs. Chie is Yukari's parallel (Chie always is Yukari in materials between 2 games like Gekkoukan costume mode in p4, they also meet a gang in SLs then and come to accept the MCs's help, etc). First girls archetype who put on a tough mask but sweet to the MCs and girl next door vibe with underdog story who thinks they couldn't get the suave cool MCs is the flag. Underdog is the flag. Soejima says Chie is the foundation for design and colour for p4 as a normal cute girl that can exsist in real life so it's like heroine. How Yukari reacts to Yuki's ending. Like how Chie monologuing she isn't special like other girls in Valentine really hit in the feels and is just sweet. Underdog just makes them special. First archetype girls Yukari and Chie like the MCs. Furthermore, the MCs can be whatever they want for the future because Yukari and Chie would support them no matter what while they're not be bounded by any occupation or anything. It's best for whatever future they have for the MCs.
