Persona 5 Tactica Review: One More Time With Feeling

Just between us, the only reason I'm interested in Persona 5 Tactica is because of how drastically different the gameplay is to the Mainline games. I'm a huge fan of TTRPGs and have got this on pre-order, and have never played a Persona game before!

I think that's kind of the magic of what Atlus is doing with the Persona spin-off games. They have the ability to appeal to a whole new audience, like yourself, and potentially get them interested in the stories of their characters. I had a great time with this, I bet you will too!

That’s what I like most about persona spin-off games though. Whether we like them or not instead of just keeping the gameplay and focusing on a different story or characters they try different genres like p4 arena games, the dancing games, but the warriors style strikers and turn based tactics here I appreciate them trying different gameplays styles and still finding ways to implement the persona feel into their spinoffs

I'm having a lot of fun wit it though I found a few of the sidequests annoying. I haven't finished it yet but I suspect I will sometime next week at the latest then I'll start the story DLC.

Persona 5 Royal is probably my favourite game ever But not gonna lie im a bit on the fence with this one Im wondering if i should instead go for Super Mario RPG because I didn’t like Sparks Of Hope that much (and this reminds me of it) Also, i didn’t really enjoy Persona 5 Strikers as much as i wanted to so getting this game feels a bit stressful Id like to know your thoughts. Is the game addictive enough and are there good bossfights? Thanks!

If you didn't like the tactics stuff from Sparks of Hope, you might not love this one. I'd go with Super Mario RPG if you're looking for something closer to P5R. That said, if you have Game Pass on Xbox, P5T is on there, so you can give it a shot and if you don't like it, you can drop it
