4:32 Meguro didn't direct Persona 1~2, he directed the ports to PSP and was part of the music team in the P1 PS1, not working in P2 PS1

9:18 FYI, this box art was also used in the Japanese version of FES, the full game that is. What you referred to as the Japanese box art at 10:03 is the P3 FES expansion disk, also known as P3 FES Append edition, which, to be fair, was a Japan exclusive.

It’s amazing how much Persona box art has changed and evolved over the years! From the simplicity of Persona 1, to the Blue hues of Persona 3, to the vibrant yellow of Persona 4 and added rainbow of colors in Golden and especially the OOZING style of Red in Persona 5 with gold added to the mix in Royal.

P5 Racing's ultimate car would indeed be the limo from 4. Biggest Vehicle HP, most room for companions to do all sort of actions to beat out the competition, and in story it's the final boss as Joker and co have to carjack it while in a race as it goes rouge.

My favourite persona box art is the European/Australian P3P box art, its super minimal but super cool, both mcs looking at each other with skill cards on a white background with block 1 of Tartarus' tiling and coffins. It has the same white-room aesthetic as the opening, communicates the themes of P3 and shows what was added in Portable

Persona 3 Portable has two additional box art variants in PAL Regions, though I think one might be a collectors edition. The first one has both protagonists on a white and simplistic background and the other collectors edition has the male protagonist and Yukari and has a hand-drawn style. Also wanted to add that I think that both US Persona 3 and FES box art is ugly but that's just my opinion.

Imagine if Persona started out in the 80s to early 90s, we could have had Phalanx & Strider (Genesis) style box art for this series! Also the "FES" on the base P3 box art is messing with my brain a bit.

I’m not a massive persona fan I’m more of a smt fan and so p1 Japanese box art is my favorite it’s in a perfect middle point in kanekos art progression with such a cool way to tie in the themes of the game and a light foreshadowing for the snow queen route whit the christal pattern

I dislike box art in general. All too often it's way too cluttered compositionally without a clear focal point. With Atlus covers it's the same problem - you can look at them for hours and still not remember a thing about them once you look somewhere else. I think the Japanese P3 cover is okay, I somewhat like the original P1/P2 covers for their simplicity and coherency. In my opinion though, Atlus' cover artists should generally think more about silhouettes and space. Kingdom Hearts 1 for example has a great cover that's instantly readable and memorable.

Sadly we're not going to get much box art in the future because with the exception of Nintendo we're moving towards an all digital age and there's nothing we can do about it.
