Brown falcon info: There are 250 birds in base + EE + OE that qualify out of 356 total birds. Ignoring birds you already know are not in the deck, its roughly 70.2% chance of success. Expected value of each activation is then .7 White faced heron info: each die has a 16.7% chance of success. With 5 rolls, 40.2% chance of 0 fish 40.2% chance of 1 fish 16.1% chance of 2 fish 3.2% chance of 3 fish .3% chance of 4 fish .01% chance of 5 fish Expected value each activation comes out to .833 This means, believe it or not, due to the upside of white faced heron, it is technically the "better hunter" although a lot more susceptible to outliers.

Something this comment doesn't take into account is the value lost from resetting the birdfeeder for your opponent, so grain of salt here

Good to know! Thanks for sharing (but also I don’t trust the die/feeder haha)

wow, im surprised you didnt take the kildeer. is it really that much worse in wingspan oceania?
@tuckNcache6 ай бұрын
I didn’t take it because of playing with house rule, where killdeer can’t be played until R2. Otherwise I think it’s still pretty good.

I don't get why you don't tuck birds you have no way to play?!? your wetland is full and you have birds that can only live in the wetland, but you keep tucking other birds instead of them
