I've received a beautiful question during the 4 Archetypes Introduction Masterclass from a participants which goes
"How does this work enhances Kizomba?"
It's a great question as often people who do Couple Dances may not always connect Personal Development with it, yet for me it is One Thing.
Yes dancing is Fun and can be a powerful kynetic way of feeling or healing, yet it's soooo much more when we dare to look deeper inside.
What i've also noticed that dance for many can be a way for people to bypass what is actually happening inside and unconsciously project, leak out on others the shadow energies that dwell within an individual.
Doing the inner work, learning deeper about the masculine & feminine energies within us, polarity, duality, will directly affect all within and around us.
Our physical, mental and emotional health.
Our relationships with friends, family and our partners.
Our work.
Connection with nature.
Money.
So much more and of course, how we relate, how we lead and follow, how we Dance with the other in couple dances like Kizomba, Salsa, Bachata, Tango, etc...

Very beautifully put! This speech is an eye opener in the sense that when you dance in a couple and you start becoming a little experienced, you feel the connection and the synchronicity and these things you just explained make total sense. One may think it’s trivial, but if a person never really stop to think about it, and to be in this awareness, they can never really enjoy or feel true connection. Thanks for giving words to these thoughts. When stated out loud, it enhances the whole concept of “connection” in its wider sense, and help putting passion and looking for connection in our everyday life.

Fascinating. In religion when you are intimate with a woman (not exactly the same) you become one, one flesh. When leading a partner is she an extension of your body, as you are one flesh? Or you still totally separate? Just seems it be easier to lead someone if you think of the other as yourself. Or am I just thinking about his incorrectly. Are you religious yourself?

Dear Razz, thank you for your interesting response. To start, i don't identify myself as religious, but i do study world cultures and religions, extracting the best out of them all in my own way. As for your flesh share, energetically i feel the energies of the 2 mix, blend, intertwine, so that already is a dance. We may move as one, breath as one, yet we are 2. So i strive for that deep connection, taking each other to places where alone we cannot reach. Yet in all that, we still hold the presence of our own unique selves. Like having a child, it is the creation of the 2, carrying qualities of the both. Same in dancing, we create together this unique moment and lead each other home. To God. Universe. Mother Nature. The spark which created all. Thank my view on it. Thank again for asking this, very good question
