I’ve been in on the fence between using Roon or Plex. I’ve tried both but it really comes down to whether I want to play the whopping 700 for a lifetime Roon subscription or 120 for the plex pass. I’m leaning more towards plex at this point. I think the UI and usability of Plexamp far exceeds Roon Arc in many aspects. I guess you could say Roon does a slight better job with its metadata, but at this point, I don’t think paying 700 dollars is worth it. I also like being able to share my plex library with my friends so we have this ongoing music collection amongst ourselves. Going to stick with Plex for now. Great video on setup:)
