I think Russian children must have had nightmares, the Russian Scar's voice is really scary. As for your comment on my native language dub (Portuguese), I understand where you're coming from when you say he sounds to "nice" but I think that's because whereas most dubs focused on Scar's evil and power-hungry side, Rogério's dub explores mostly Scar's vain and self-centred side.

Great ranking, I don't know if I agree or not because I'm not familiar with most of these voices, but as far as I can see here Scar must be very difficult to rank as there are many great voices! I love all your top ten and thank you so much for 3rd place

+Claudia Bronte Scar has probably been the most difficult character I've ranked; they are all so good and different approaches work. Some went for subtlety (Original) and others went for full over the top (Korean) and both work wonderfully!

My favourite version is and will always be my childhood version German. On 2nd place is French and 3rd is Russian. Love all of your videos :-)

I am personally glad that Kristóf Tibor sang as Scar himself.For example in the Anastasia ,he is Rasputin and he doesn't sing himself,hete is another man to sing.But I like him RIP

OMG! I love you! thank you! i was expecting a ranking of the scar's voices ^^. They're awesome! The persian sounds so evil that makes you wanting to run away of the computer xDD. And i would use the latin american spanish voice to performance Claude Frollo, instead of Scar. I like the icelandic too with that sudden burst of energy.

This is about voice acting, not singing. To me personally Scar is one of the characters that is voiced so perfectly. To me no one touches Jeremy Irons in that department.

Great ranking and thanks for the 2nd place! Scar must be incredible hard to rank, he has a lot great voices. Though I love the original one as well, I agree that some of the foreign voices are just better. Say, did you know that Jeremy Irons doesn't sing the complete song, but that is voiced is mixed with the one of Jim Cummings? Had to think about it when you said he is not a professional singer, because they indeed mixed him up with a more polished voiced.

+TinyRen I heard that the last part of the song is not Jeremy Irons, but Jim Cummings. Apparently Jeremy Irons lost his voice after spending the day recording the first part of the song (I'm guessing they have to do several takes of multiple lines), so they got Jim Cummings in to finish it off!

They had a very hard time finding the French scar. So Disney actually contacted Denmark to hear if there scar spoke French (they thought that Stig was excellent, and already after his audition asked how many languages he spoke) Stig was actually fluent in French, and said I he would do it. But they finally found the right person to do scar, and Stig ended up not doing it. But I still think it’s a fun fact. Denmark was actually awarded the award for best dubbing of the lion king by Disney afterward

I agree that LA Spanish has a very heavy & deep voice, and (like you said) It's personal taste. When I was 12 I heard Scar un Castilian and preferred him MUCH more ^^

Wolff does score points for being a professional singer. He sang "Be Prepared" in a concert. The late Jordi Doncos was also a singer. The Korean voice is actually Kim Byeong-Gwan. He voiced Darth Vader in the Korean dub of Star Wars. Thomas Fritsch and Yuri Lazarev are awesome! The former dubbed a lot of Jeremy Irons' roles and the latter dubbed so many Disney Villains!

Scar is my favorite vilian, he is a vilian by all means. Obvious top 10, I love each voice of it!! Thank you for 30th place. People are usually very cruel with Aleksandros (sometimes with all the Greek cast, it's unfair for me, it was a great dub). Honestly, his singing part didn't impress me much, but he is an unprofessional singer, his speaking part though, it's awesome for me.

About the french voice (Jean Piat who dub Frollo too) I think he could be higher. Well first, I'm french so I'm not very objective but I find in his voice and his tone something more powerful than other version. Scar was (and he still!) my favorite in the Lion King. The other characters are boring in my opinion.

Before going into this; I hoped German, Hebrew, and English would all be in the top 10. Good job! However I do personally find English should be number 3, German should be around 2, and Hebrew should be number 1. Just my personal thoughts.
