You are absolutely right with eliminating the guardrails, I was totally hooked with the story The professionality of your case study is world class. Would love to see more UX-mindset-related kinda content. Teach us the thinking sensei. Put user center-&-front

Thank you May for sharing your knowledge with us! I love your case study presentation. Short and succinct, allowing time for another case study and a QnA session in that 1-hour UX/UI product case study presentation. Looking forward to more videos!

You were able to showcase projects even from coming from a big finance company? I’m asking cause I don’t know what to put on my portfolio when I’ll leave, as I’m not allowed to show anything 😓
@MaySunDesign11 ай бұрын
I’m sorry to hear that! I recommend you have a lawyer take a look at the contract you signed and determine the rules. Don’t quote me on this, theoretically once the product is launched, your design can be shown but only to a controlled group AKA hide it behind a password wall. An alternative would be remake the whole process and replace any sensitive information, only focus on the product development things instead of the business knowledge. Good luck!

This is really cool, love how you went through small things such as image in comments and adopted a step by step building process🙌 Im also curious about the myers brigg is it good to add it and let people know or is it more a kind of personal decision? Thanks again for the lovely,really helpful content!
@MaySunDesign Жыл бұрын
Thank you for you comment! I think it’s a personal decision, the goal is to have interviewers to know you as quick as possible since you’ll want to save time for the case studies. I have seen corporations would use all kinda of test for career development, but Myers-Briggs is almost the most popular one. Feel free to come up with your own ways creatively 😀

Thanks for sharing your case study. The flow was natural and engaging. I liked how you focused on defining the problem and arriving at a solution without distractions like user journey maps, design systems, and wireframes. The goal of connecting entrepreneurs and facilitating knowledge sharing was clear. During your presentation, I thought it would be cool to also have an option for private chat, as some people may prefer one-on-one connections for specific business questions and advice.

That’s a great feedback! I must need to emphasis more on the private chat, you can see it’s in the design at 6:20.
