Love your videos, they are very structured and extremely helpful! I'll be happy to see a video from you 'applicants portfolio review from a hiring designer prospective' - must have things in portfolio, what format is the best, structure that makes sense for a hiring designer, mistakes to avoid etc. including main pains that hiring designers are facing when looking through tons of applications.

I see, it’s a great idea to see what a hiring manager’s perspective could be. Thank you!

Hey may , love this video , I recently had an interview wherein I was asked " What process in the product lifecycle are you most excited about " and " what part do you want to learn more about ". Im curious to know how you'd go about answering this 😄

Hi thank you for your question! Of course everyone has personal preferences, I enjoy the exploration phase which requires collaboration and break down a complex problem into actional items, to set the product development up for success. If you want to learn more about this phase, you can watch my latest video here: Create a design strategy with a successful Design Workshop using the simplified Google Design Sprint kzbin.info/www/bejne/hXKqYmt_i5ZlmZI. For the area to improve, I would say this is the perfect opportunity to show case your research on this company. I would call out that you are very interested in the industry and want to enrich the knowledge, and contribute to product thinking from a fundamental level. Hope the answers help!

Hi, thanks for this video . I have a question, while describing S if the STAR method , do you go into the detail of the project or keep it generic . For example should I say “during a launch of recent product” or should I say “during the launch of our product which deals with collaboration and communication and helps users blah blah.. “

Hi thanks for the good question here. I would recommend to go with short and sweet context setup. The exception would be if you want to emphasize on a detail in the context, you can break up the context to be “I want to talk about a recent launch, this launch is about deals with collaboration and communication. The goal is to help user blah blah.” So that your interviewer can catch all the details in an organized way, which helps their note taking process.
