I loved this analysis! I didn't expect her level of discipline but it makes sense since you really need it to make it in the industry. I love how she rolls with the punches and not too seriously, it's hard to be disciplined AND fun. Her extroversion comes from a place of authenticity and responsibility and not a need for individual expression and that's so unique. As an infj it's a struggle lol.

ive been so excited to find a video of yours that goes against the usual consensus, and this is the perfect one. she uses too much Ne not to have it in her stack and enfj has never sat right to me. she's definitely a healthy Fe user, most of Ireland have a 'family' and 'unity' everyone-knows-everyone dynamic which is where I think that stems from.

@@EricWen People that type solely on visual typing need to understand other factors can manipulate body language. Plastic surgery - Health conditions - trauma - etc can all manipulate the human body. And that's not to say that I dont belive in it at all, it's just a system that is unreliable and wont give us the most accuarte results. The person cognition should allways come first! Visual typing is a good side note but nothing more. Of course this is just my opinion. Thanks again for the video Eric, your work is allways appreciated.

I think culture also intermixes with personality. The Irish culture is very laid-back not necessarily conformist but very laid-back. That also has to do with the occupation/colonization of Ireland. Which plays out I believe in society

I fell the Fe is skill more required and cherished by the society, like.. people having prominent Fe tend to be more aware of their surrounding and adapt better/quicker to the current situation, right? Which are skills the "group" benefit from. I am a prominent Fi user and sometimes I feel (haha!) that this skill is usefull only for me and nobody else. I noticed it more when I got more immersed into Korean culture, where quick adapting and "reading the room" are highly desired skills. Which I lack. 😅

Thank you for this thorough breakdown. Comparing this with my functions notes from cs joseph, objective personality, you, and cluster of MBTI nerds in my life: you are correct. This is definitely an ESFJ. And I would know because I am an ESFJ. An ESFJ fueled by the tools of networking potential and JUSTICE to muscle through dense coursework of CS Joseph, Objective Personality Eric Wen, and a cluster of Observer leading friends that love MBTI and make typing look SOOOO easy. Well its not. ESPECIALLY when you lead with an extroverted decider function. It spends all day screaming "Oh Squirrel!" while our observers with room for a new voice of reason that finally has room to breathe and talk that's All. About. OURSELVES. Interesting! I tend to type as an INTP (still up for debate) and have always related to her in many ways and have seen her as having certain strengths I’d like to mimic in some regards. An example being her seemingly well grounded Fe and her Si clarity shown within her communication. To me, interacting with an Fi user feels like being in direct sunlight outside - you get both the sunlight and the heat. Where as interacting with this style of Fe is more like being in an appropriately air conditioned room with great windows on a sunny day - you can enjoy the sunlight for what it is without experiencing the heat, or choose to jump in fully - it’s up to you. Both bring different value, and some people may often appreciate the straight forwardness of Fi more. Great video as usual!

Could you do Henry Cavill? I watch interviews with celebrities and I feel like I’m really good at guessing men’s mbti types, but I don’t know his. Me too! Because it’s so true that the environment we grow up in have such a major impact on us, and it’s so important to point out. My best friend for example, she is an INTJ. And she’s so incredibly confident and what not, that people might think she’s an ENTJ. In the internet people give of the impression that INTJs can have bad confidence, be depressed etc. But she’s the most healthy and balanced person I know, and she had an amazing upbringing with extremely supportive parents. All of the most confident people that I know and have met, had supportive parents and a good upbringing with their family.

It's hard for me to imagine loving rules and structure too. It's just so antithetical to who I am. When I contemplate it too, most rules are obviously manmade; shoulds and shouldn'ts are not inherent in nature therefore they don't feel natural. But I like the rules that allow us to stay safe and peacefully co-exist.

she is in complete control of her career. you will not see her in a marvel movie and she has no interest in that. not her bag. she is going to be a director and I can well see her do that. plus more stage work. she has a phenomenal recall. jim norton worked wtih her in the crucible and he was struggling so she saw that and sat down with him and what blew him away was she knew both of their parts and she had memorised the entire book. same with atonement. she got that role after one audition, she knew the part inside out.

Are you sure she’s not an ESTJ? She seems to be concerned with rules, systems and objective logic, just to “get things done” efficiently. That seems like Te. I didn't really watch much of her but that's the first type that came to mind. She doesn't seem to blend into her enviornment like an Fe user, she's not the prototype of the typical popular girl. She's more assertive, her manner of concern for the people around her seems very Te like. She reminds me of Bette Davis who I think was an ENTJ.

@@spacechampi0n i knoww she's one of the very few celebrities who actually typed themselves right. and she's also very easy to type too. i don't think she's very into typology tho i think she just took the test or smth and got the right results bcs she knows herself well. bcs if u know marina she's very open about her interests she would probably post about mbti and cognitive functions like she posts about astrology if she was into it
