I always noticed that they were totally opposites, but at the same time complementary. Since they came out as a couple, Zendaya has been more expressive and comfortable around Tom. Before, she had fun in interviews, but was always very serious, or acting more professional. Now she always plays with him, or is laughing. It's really fun to see this transformation over the years.

What you said about Zendaya loosening up with Tom and being more comfortable to act silly reminds me of something that my INFJ friend told me once. They said that something that makes me very special is that with me they feel free to express the "weirder" side of themself, they feel safe in explaining even their most complex ideas to me, and they never once felt like I was bothered by it or that I didn't care. As for me, an INFP, I value authenticity a lot and I told my friend that if I seem genuinely interested and like I enjoy their company, it's because I truly do. My friend makes me feel seen, heard and understood, helps me be the best I can and in return I just show them my true self with no shame and I make sure they know how much I appreciate them.

It’s cool because stereotypically the Enfp/Infj relationship is the best match for those two types. Seeing it in real life validates that point. it's really up to preference because the "best match" for a type is similar to "the most beautiful" to that type. It's a very subjective opinion and should not be encouraged by others as fact when we all have different backgrounds and preferences despite being the same types. I'm an ENFP myself and I would say im more attracted to SJ personality types naturally.

Até porque é certo que, na grande maioria dos casos, os tipos ENFP e INJF acabem se atraindo um pelo outro, logo que se conhecem. Porém, óbvio que cada pessoa é de um jeito, e o MBTI não vem pra ditar regras ou se meter na escolha dos outros. Tom led the way on all the questions that tried to side step into relationships questions. He just said obvious lies like "we hate each other". She felt safe because he led the way and she could just follow even if it appeared a bit chaotic.

I think that every ENFP needs at least one INFJ in their lifetime. I’ve really learned a lot and continue to learn so much from my INFJ, it’s really magical how this dynamic works and I can’t even picture how this dynamic can fail in any way. It just seems that both these types want the same thing at the end of the day which makes it really easy.

You’re so right about a lot of this! It’s great to hear these perspectives from someone who really knows more about personalities, compared to an outsider. Tom himself has said (paraphrased - I don’t remember the exact wording): - “Without Zendaya and golf, I’d be a mess” (Dec, press tour) - “Zendaya has been instrumental to my sanity” (November, GQ i think) - “Zendayas superpower is the ability to calm me down when I’m too far gone” (Dec, press tour) - “Having Zendaya as a friend has been so valuable to the success and happiness of my career and life” (February 2020 before they were a “confirmed couple”) I do think Tom and Zendaya work well together and while they may have their differences, a lot of their core values and things they enjoy are pretty similar (as someone who has been a fan of Zendaya since Shake It Up and Tom since Civil War). I wish them the best, whether it is as a couple, friends or acquaintances in the future!

As an INFJ, I've always vibed with ENFPs and INFPs. The differences and similarities between the types are so interesting. For example, I feel like INFJs can be very similar to INTJs (must be the introverted intuition), but the differences can cause a lot of conflict, depending on who one is dealing with. I find ENTPs fascinating. I could listen to them for hours. I just don't know if they would generally be just as interested in an INFJ.

I love this! I'm sure i'm an INFP but i think my mam is an INFJ (and not a very healthy one) and she always put such a big focus on how you should be and how you should present yourself and behave etc, that i think i've lost some of my authentic introverted feeling. I'm working on getting it back though and realising how much i overthink things now because of my upbringing - anxiety and social anxiety were big things for me as a teen and in my early 20s. But i've worked througg them and now i'm fosusing on letting my true feelings amd quirkiness be more openly expressed. Would love a video on something relating to this.

He is actually a very good liar. Like a good storyteller, he doesn't let truth get in the way of a good story. The "spoilerman" thing was used as a marketing tool. Tom knew about Tony Stark's eventual death since 2016 and he knew about the other Spideys appearing in NWH for 2 years. He also did a whole press campaign about Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio being Spidey's ally in FFH. And he also hid his relationship with Zendaya for a long time. They were only outed because a pap surreptitiously followed Tom for days and was able to capture him kissing Zendaya. This pap had literally been trying to get a PDA pic of them for 4 years but could only get pics of them walking or driving together without PDA

This was so interesting! I'm an INFP and my sister's an ENFJ so we basically share the same functions as Tom and Zendaya - just in different order, and you really described the whole "mirroring" thing. I really related when they both said how she wanted to do something a certain way, and Tom wants to do something a completely different way to get the same outcome. And how that breeds arguments. My sister and I, similarly have similar issues with this 😅😂I find that my sister and I tend to bicker about the little stuff, but in the end, we have shared goals, values, hobbies, vision for the future etc which makes us understand and so respect each other more. I feel because of our different functions, issues with our personalities are being acknowledged more often through these arguments, and due to our genuine love for one another, we are trying to resolve them. The byproduct of this is we are growing and becoming more mature. One of the pros in having relationships with those who have different functions to yours I guess.

I'm a women typed as ESTP...ISTJ (my opposite side of the coin type) is a type I can't really imagine dating and as far as I know, haven't dated. Never say never though, I guess. I was in a relationship with an ENFP for 20 years +. I'm an INFJ. We made a great team together, complementing each other. People saw us as an ideal and very charming couple. On a very personal, emotional and intimate level the biggest difference between of us was that while she felt deeply understood since the beginning I never felt that way even after 20 years. Now I would think twice before starting a serious relationship with somebody who has FI as auxiliary or dominant function.

I loved this analysis video, thank you! And the reminder that anyone can clash or get along splendidly all comes down to how much you're willing to think well of them. Someone else mentioned it would be cool to see you do a flip of this (ENFJ + INFP) and another said that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield likely fit that bill - and what with the revival on TikTok of people's adoration of their relationship plus the buzz NWH still carries, I think it'd be super cool and timely if you decided to do an analysis of their relationship!

It's also about having a shared foundation of common core values, respecting each other, COMMUNICATING and compromising. Each has to understand that their brains work differently and has to make an effort to realize where the other is coming from. Also these types of couples also need to leave some time to the other to spend with friends that can partake in the more extroverted or introverted pursuits

I'm an INFJ and my partner is an ENFJ. I'm very outwardly aware, poised, calm, quiet, I observe the room. He's jovial and gregarious. Like Zendaya I have this radar that's like 'hmmm...I don't know about this person", whereas my partner is like a puppy and believes everyone is nice. I'm much more guarded emotionally AND I'm 10, 20, 30 steps ahead thinking about how the past and present has a ripple effect on the future. Whereas my partner is probably more present moment- the only time he thinks of the future is in regards to his love life, home and family- like a knight loving his castle. I help him make decisions based on patterns I'm intuitivly see, he lets me be silly. I feel safe around him. I totally get Zendaya.

5:44 this actually makes a lot of sense. I'm an ENFP and I go to school with my ENTJ friend. When our teacher asks a question, I'm usually coming up with multiple speculative possibilities, not caring too much about their accuracy because I'm not that "attached" to the ideas. They exist in excess, and are expendable. My ENTJ friend, however, tends to sit there in silence and I can tell she's working really hard to formulate a singular answer that makes sense to her, because she's way more "attached" to her ideas. However she sometimes forgets to add words to them 😂. So when the teacher is like "well? You got anything?" I'm like "just give her a second..." and then she comes up with the most perfectly formulated explanation you've ever heard lol. 14:46 i completely agree. I could chose to be impatient and annoyed with my friend when she takes her time formulating answers, get defensive when she provides constructive criticism, be offended when she is assertive, or get frustrated when she wants to reorganize the whole classroom so it makes sense to her Te and looks good to her Se. Or, I could value those traits and appreciate the fact that she wants to provide me with the most accurate information she is capable of, make sure we have a usable and efficient workspace that makes it enjoyable to be in, that she is direct when she takes issue with someone and is never passive aggressive, and that she genuinely wants to help improve people's work. It may seem like our personality types would clash, but we actually get along great. I don't think we've ever had an argument that wasn't purely a joke or debating a topic for fun. Even with really divisive and heavy subjects we disagree on, we can talk about them in a calm and civilized manner and not feel personally attacked when the other person thinks differently. Wether or not you get along with a type completely depends on how open you are to learning about them, and your willingness to make changes that accommodate their needs.

the more you talk about Zendaya being an INFJ, the more I realize that I am one too. I used to think I was an INFJ, but I didn't fully understand Ni/Ne, and I was like "I must be Ne, cause I've always been someone who likes to consider all the persepectives", so I started to think I was an ENTP for a while, especially since my Ti has been very strong throughout my life. But your Zendaya analysis made me understand Ni a bit more and now I think I'm an INFJ again
