He also did the best job. I always liked him as Spider-Man. His movies might not have been the best, but I liked him the best. In this movie he killed it. Tobey did a fine job, but I felt he wasn't in it the way Andrew was. Tobey feels like he thought it was cool, and a fun job and all that. Tom is of course the main star of the movie, and did a great job. But like you said, Andrew needed it, he gave his all, and when he saved MJ, that moment was truly amazing. Andrew can be proud of his work here, and I loved seeing him again. Would I want to see him again? Man it's a toughie, I do, but I don't. Sure I want to see more of him, but this was so amazing, I feel like there is a big risk of them ruining it.

Fun fact: Tobey agreed to do this on one solid condition: Tom's Spider-Man would be the focal point always, and he and Andrew's Spideys were NOT to in any way steal the current Spidey's thunder in a sense. The way they did this, Andrew was right, they made the Spideys be necessary in the story for the main one to truly become Spider-Man. Loved it!

If Andrew can see this comment, that moment Andrew flies in to save MJ... that was the most beautifully crafted rescue redemption moment to ever be realized. It was a moment that could show redemption and regret at once. Just that look on his face that he wished he had saved Gwen in this exact same way. The save in that was just so overwhelmingly powerful. I cried all the way home just over that moment in the movie. That he learned from his mistake with Gwen to change his tactic to save another, and yet you can see the pain that he wished he did that the first time. That moment made this scene The Amazing Spider-Man 3 for me.

Also, when Tom was about to kill Green goblin with is own plane/flying-skateboard-thingy, Toby stopped him because their goal was to cure them not kill them, and also Toby remembered what happened before, how Goblin killed himself with the blades of his OWN plane when he attempted to kill spiderman/Toby....Great flashbacks and replays of scenarios 👌

The reaction in the theater when the first other spider-man showed up was pretty special. But the reaction when the second one came in, and everyone realized "OMG this is really happening!" Well, you could barely hear anything other than cheering. It was one of the only times I've been in a crowd, and felt just how much people cared. Watching the scenes in the movie alone just doesn't give you that same feeling. This was by far the most heart-felt reaction I've experienced in a theater, and it didn't come from the movie. It came from the love everyone in the audience expressed together, sharing the experience.

Pete Hammond did a masterful job moderating this interview panel. I just have to put that out there, this is as difficult as it is exciting to pull off and it takes a real professional to handle a gig like this. As for Tom, Andrew and Tobey, the obvious is not necessary to state. What I will say about them is that they are part of a special fraternity of people who have (as stated in the interview) had a huge part in resurrecting the theater experience, as well as effecting every-day people in the best possible way in these trying times. They pulled off something that will be looked at and enjoyed and celebrated for many many years to come. Congratulations to all of them! This makes my soul happy!

Andrew finished great! Way to finish his trilogy (I know its not his own actual trilogy, but in a sense , I am convinced that it is) explosively. The movie was tear jerking on both heart breaking and surprising scenes. Absolutely brilliant!

This is an excellent interview, thank you so much for making this happen!! Your questions were great and you gave everyone the space and time to express themselves fully, which made it an even more special interview. It was so insightful and entertaining to hear from them all about their experiences with this movie and as these characters, and you could just feel the appreciation and love they have for each other - so great! Hope it isn't taken down from either of your channels :)

One of the best decisions any filmmaker could have made, once in a lifetime opportunity for 3/4 generations put together who live Spider-Man and each of these lead actors! Imagine in what other movies we could have actually done this .. thankful to the makers of this movie to have made this happen 🙏🏽

it'd be interesting to see a bale, affleck, and pattinson multiverse crossover movie. The snyder cut set up the multiverse possibilities pretty well, which will probably be fully explained in the Flash solo film

This movie means the world to me, it will forever have an impact on my heart because of how special it is, having seeing Tobey, Andrew and Tom, all together, on one screen, in which I grew up with all of them, (and I know many others did as well 🖤)it was like a dream come true. Like I’m still not over it, like I can’t even put it into words of how amazing and special the experience was of seeing this movie for the first time.

I think they will comeback in secret wars but I think Andrew spidey might be teased in venom 3 since at the end of NWH Eddie tells venom they are going to NY to go "meet this spiderman" which means they maybe don't know who he is so ot sets up perfectly for that spidrman to he Andrew's and finally get his fight with an alien

I went to see the movie with my stepmom. I will never forget the experience. When Tobey showed up, she just grabbed and squeezed my hand. He was her Spider-Man and also mine so just seeing him again meant a lot to both of us. She was shocked and scared when he had gotten stabbed by the Goblin. I never really thought much of Andrew’s Spider-Man but I appreciate him so much more and adore him. This movie is definitely my favorite Spider-Man movie of all time, taking the place of Spider-Man 2.

When Tobey appeared in the movie.....words couldn't describe how I felt...watched Tobey in the earlier Spiderman movies, and they were so good. It just conjured up memories and feelings of the early 2000s 🥲 of Tobey's youth and how great he was in the movie...and just how young we all were 20 years ago. Now he appears in this movie with all the Spidermans together, was just very emotional.

I really hope they do more movies with Tom, his story is only really just starting. His highschool days are over that's pretty much how the other movies started. It would be nice to see him play a solo Spider-man in the movies as well. In the first movie he had the suit AI to work with, then he had friend's that helped him. He has no one left now and it's his time to shine as Spider-Man, so here's hoping they make more movies with him.
