This was a great showcase. I like how you combined years in your albums.

It’s such a fun way to scrapbook and very interesting to flip through. I hope you enjoy creating this way!

I love the extended story concept but like to start and end it with a 12 x 12 page with the selection of pocket plus pages in the middle. I have really enjoyed this Visio thank you.

That’s a fun idea to start with 12x12 for extended story. I really enjoy going back and looking at the pages I’ve created this way.

So many good idea in this video! I love your interactive pages and how you organize your trips. I am bad about getting all my pics in the albums so I too have started keeping a travel journal so I remember the details.

Some trips have taken me years to finally finish. I miss the page kits for incentive trips because that made it so easy to get them finished! The travel journal is a necessity or my journaling would be missing all the good details!

I love the way you organise your layouts to suit the trip. Such good tips for vacations and how to incorporate them into a chronological album and dedicated albums.

Glad you enjoyed it! Do you use a similar system?
@JaniceGilhooley2 жыл бұрын
Yes I sort of do. Some trips deserve their own album, and some fit right in with the family album. There is always a reference in the family album with highlight photos of a trip - I can't help myself scrapping them twice!

I have done dedicated albums for special events like weddings within the family as you usually go & only get a few photos from each event & so they are dated so that when you go through the book you can be reminded of when relatives were married. I have also done a dedicated album for my birthdays as I have a special event every 10 years & five years later have still not finished putting in my 70th birthday photos in the album.

I like that idea of having dedicated albums for other things like birthdays and weddings.

I loved seeing a peek at your vacation albums. Such great ideas for organizing how you scrapbook them. I really love how you keep a little journal for the trip and then add it to the album at the end.

I love seeing other people’s albums too it’s interesting to see how everyone does things. The travel journal that fits in the album was a brain wave one year when I realized I never go back to look at them unless they are included with my trip layouts.

Journaling is a work in progress for me. The Storyteller book by Stacy Julian had really helped me improve my storytelling skills. It’s just a matter of sitting down and actually doing it!

This was great, gives me some ideas of how to organize trips. I thought the mini album in the big album was great, did you just make that up or is it something purchased to put in the big album?Thanks so much for the ideas.
@ChelseyVorosmarty2 жыл бұрын
I’m glad you found some ideas for your own albums! The mini albums I just made myself. My favourite is the pocket cards bound together with washi tape. It was easy to make and nice and flat to carry with me and to store in the album. If you know what collection you’re planning to scrapbook the trip with you can always make a mini album ahead with the same papers so it matches.

Holidays for each kid, Or we go to my sister in-laws in nc a couple times a year what would u to a with that
@ChelseyVorosmarty Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure what you’re asking. If you’re wondering how I would document multiple trips to the same location I think I would make an album for that place and just add a couple pages for each trip.

I get most of my photos printed at London Drugs and they have a really good selection of photo sizes.
