I absolutely loved the idea of the postcards. I usually carry a notebook and write down stuff. The postcards are so much better. I actually have a box of each year that includes all our trips.

Great tips! When I travel I write in a journal each day. At the end of the trip I type it up and put it in the back of my scrapbook. I also add postcards and memorabilia to my pages. Love the peekaboo pockets.

I buy post cards as well. I have always used them for the information on the back and for pictures that I couldn’t get or when places don’t allow picture taking. Never thought about using it for a journal card. Love that idea!❤

What a great idea. I always have good intentions with all my memorabilia, I end up stuffing lots of receipts etc in my pockets and other places and can never find them come Scrappbooking time. Thanks

Happy anniversary. I'm going to celebrate my 41st on June 26. The idea of using the project folders we usually use for collections for memorabilia is great. I do use a filing system for papers, etc. for each trip which is really helpful. I purchase postcards of places I visit but I never thought to write on the back. I would like to see you do another power sort video.

Are postcards safe to put in albums though? I didn’t think they would be acid and lignen free?

That's one benefit of the peekaboo pocket, it never touches the page! We also have buffered products that keeps the "ick" from spreading. You could mount on cardstock for extra protection if you are only using the writing as a reminder of what happened instead of the actual journaling.
