Nice touch with the Omen music, love that film series (well, I love the original trilogy, everything after that can go burn in hell lol). Skylynx looks pretty sweet, though I'm not sure if I'd have enough space for something as big as him, plus all the drawbacks to his design sound like a hassle. BTW, I always thought it was funny how his Lynx mode, the mode he's named after, is the one he tended to use the least often, but I guess its hard to compete with that "dinobird" mode of his lol. P.S. atomic breath makes everything better >8D

He's named after both forms, the first one is just called Sky... Apparently he's a millennial girl. He's great, I'd say his worst problems are the looseness in his wings, and the fact that his butt want's to come apart. Everything else is VERY forgivable.

Funny story, I got Skylynx yesterday. I opened my youtube app because I thought to mention my skylynx on one of your videos. Mainly because it was my most wanted figure of earthrise but also because you seemed to have good things to say about it. :) Imagine my surprise when I find you have a new video. Then surprise of surprises your new video is on Skylynx, I got some good luck. I love Skylynx but hate that the shuttle cant stay on the shuttle stand. They didn't make the ports long enough. On the other hand I have Astrotrain and he comes with a shuttle stand as well. His shuttle stand has three 5mm male ports that when put into the engine on astrotrain make a good strong connection. I am going to try Skylynx's shuttle on astro's stand to see if it works better. The long ramp is the perfect hight to plug into Omega Supream so that is also very nice. Hope you all are well. Stay warm and cover that smile with a mask. lol

Thank you. Tell me how it works out. And yeah, Skylynx is an over all fantastic figure with a litany of small issues that it really shouldn't have, that drag the figure down lower than it should go. Seriously if they extended ever tab this figure has a Centimetre it would have almost no troubles.

I'd argue that Generations Skullgrin (personal favourite) is the most heavy metal of CHUGs. Looks like Breaking Benjamin's mascot.

Maybe? Some times these companies use pseudonyms, some times the collapse and restart, and sometimes the designers move on to other companies and make their own. All I can say for sure is the "Peach Girl" is by Magic Square, but this "Tiny Rex" is officially by a company that calls it self Hero Hobby.

@@Enforcedformula Your welcome. I'm glad to hear it, and you can expect that I will only ever give you the truth on a Figure. Tiny Rex is being sold on looks alone, love the looks enough to forgive it's other weaknesses, or save your money. Also just treat it with kid gloves the plastic is a little thin up in the dino head.

Seems like I just got the magic fingers when I put my SkyLynx back together My best tip is to kinda raise up the ship just a bit onto where that notch is on the back, wiggle it in and when you feel it gets tighter I lock it onto the front latch and test if it’s actually connected

It was much worse for me in the video than it typically is, trying to do that around a camera made it a literal nightmare, but I'd say it takes two to three tries for me typically, some times I get it in one, and it's like "Why can't it always be this easy?"

I'm doing a direct side by side comparison on the Generations to the Ercee. Covering what exactly makes them different. Then Sunday's video might be up in the air at this point, I have one video partially finished, but something came up, that I might want to change it to.

Yeah I got so mad when I first open the sky about the cat but coming off coming on pegged that I actually took some super glue to it I can still unplug it but now it does not like to come out takes good amount of force to get it out

Dino Mode is looking good, but the head is a little weird, and I HATE his hands, they look super weird. Also think it's strange that once again his sword is pink. But for the most part it's actually remeasuring me. It's looking better than I was worried just a little bit ago, though even in the shot looking up at him from a low angle, I STILL can't see his eyes.

I don't think so, because he's not two distinct guys. Skylynx combined or separated is still just Skylynx, he's just two smaller slightly weaker selves at the same time.

@@bryanwalker5525 Here's the think, it can be super dope when you think of him doing combination attacks. Imagine him running at a combiner, the bird detaches, and grabs onto the combiners shoulders, while the cat launches a barrage of weapons fire into the torso of the combiner the bird they flies off with the injured combiner and drops him from orbit. Or Skylynx is diving at the enemy from altitude and he drops the Lynx portion on them like a bomb that then gets up and starts fighting them, while the Sky part stats AC130ing around the battlefield, firing into the center.

Skylynx detaching can be cool, and yeah, Siege was boring. How do you write something so bereft of interesting characters, compelling action, or fun.

@@PerspectiveEnd by siege I meant the Tv show, not the toy line. Personally I think the toy line was fantastic. I initially thought that the weathering would look bad, but it quickly grew on me. I one part I didn’t like were the micro masters and the weaponizers. Personally I would have preferred legends class. I think the biggest fault with the siege show is that its unmemorable. At least with the prime wars trilogy it was a situation were some parts were so bad they were good or at least memorable. I barley remember anything about the siege show. It just feels like the most bare bones transformers show to me.

Skylinx is so basic of a transformation What would make it better would be having the cargo section fold in more, or having the shuttle robot mode have THICCCR legs

@@warspartian2447 Well that's confusing. I'd be willing to bet you didn't read the last one. Last First(as pointless as this probably is). My set up is what I use to film figures. Currently I use an: Esmart Light Box, A generic Walmart brand tripod, a large ring light(Necessary for the size of my lens), and a Cannon Rebel Camera(which is not all that much better in terms of image quality than my phone camera(which I used to use) but the Lens based Zoom, and the easy manual focus make life SO much easier.) And that's all the stuff I use for EVERY video, I might use some other things depending on the special needs of the particular project.

On my Skylinks in bird mode the legs are super tight but I have the same problems with the wings but with the slightest movement the bird wing rail will slide out but still he is my favorite earthrise figure

I finally fixed the swivel joint on his wing just take off the wing and put a tiny drop super glue on the swivel joint and it should make the joint tighter

Unfortunately no where. Why do I say No where. Because there is NO WHERE you can find these any more, believe me people have asked and I've looked. Every last one of these ever made was sold, and the company seems to have gone out of business in 2016. You can't even find these on Ebay. That's where I got mine, but they just aren't on there any more.
