"Man-drah" even at time of this video 2018 the Airport line was been built East Perth is not just for the "Indian pacific" to Sydney (Adelaide as well) but ALSO the "prospector" to Kalgoorlie Perth Station also has the "Australind" down to Bunbury

Yeah was a informative video but missed those key lines and the pronunciation of Mandurah stirred some weird feelings in me hahaha 🤣

This video doesn’t include lines under construction just a short mention at the end. Mentioning the other long distance trains was beyond the scope of the video :) All the constructive feedback will help make my next Perth rail video even better :)

This video was a quick overview of the current (as of September 2018) operating suburban lines, sure there’s a lot of information not included or maybe I’m just giving excuses for my lack of effort put into a badly shot,poorly planned,budget limited, time constrained video :)

Didn't need a Kiwi narrator who didn't bother to research local dialects with regard to names - it isn't Mandoora it's Manjra!
@mags39323 жыл бұрын
ctiley2212 there hard to pronuce because the names came from Aboriginal Heratige Tradition Owners of the land technically
@ctiley22123 жыл бұрын
@@mags3932 It is still not very hard to research the names, either on-line or a telephone call to a local to have first hand evidence of the true pronunciation, again a West Australian talking about Western Australian subjects would have been far better.

Yeah bit annoying aye, but I don’t know any Australians who will do free voice overs for my videos, you know anyone?

@@slpnzrail try the people from Bennett Brook Railway - they're all rail tragics and you'll probably get a sympathetic hearing from there. I haven't the equipment or facilities to help, sorry.

Hello, just a few things... services on the Fremantle line were closed from 79 to 83, the B Series do also run on the heritage lines as well, they have been running on the Armadale line a fair bit lately and Mandurah is pronounced Man-Drah

Well B series top speed may be a little more than 130 since once on a Mandurah bound train the train hit 135
@AussieTrainVlogger3 жыл бұрын
Thats because the trains is only allowed to run at a speed of 130 even though they can go over 135.
@train_guy2 жыл бұрын
I know that whole mandurah line like its the back of my hand. I live down that ways- There is NO SIGN that has EVER existed saying the speed limit is over 130. This is actually illegal if the driver is caught speeding. Not that police will pull him over, but he may be fined. You guys need to read a little on the transperth documents that ARE public if you just learn how to use google search with certain phrases that narrow the search down to pdf files etc. I recall a document that included all the limits on a map like page. Hope this helps

@@slpnzrail "The guy" Timo is referring to is the commentator (you ? ) who has mispronounced Mandurah (pron Man-djrah) as mentioned by Jason G. The commentator has a NZ accent and may also be familiar with some of the old diesel powered multiple unit rolling stock from Perth that ended up in NZ. Excellent video by the way
