Planning to ride a motorbike from Perth to Sydney; this video does help me for sure. I saw you refueled two to three times; I see so many fuel stations over GPS but when I was seeing this video; I don't see many passing by which worry me a little.

@alexholver25078 жыл бұрын
Allegedly max 250km apart, but suggest take a few jerry cans so you're not paying roadhouse fuel prices. Or support them:) your choice!

Amazing that this video exists, but it would have been nice if the camera could be more centered.
@alexholver25079 жыл бұрын
+LegendMeadow Hi, cam was centered on my windscreen, I just choose to keep to my side of the road, even in the middle of nowhere! Hopefully I'll do the trip again next year but in 4K

How long did this take you because normally this would take the average person atleast 3 to 4 days to get there its from one side of a continent to the other like

Hey I was wondering what kind of camera you used for this trip? and what settings did you use? and what memory card did you use I'm surprised everything fit inside the card! I would be very thankful for this information as I am going to do something very similar soon. Thanks and fantastic vid!
@alexholver25073 жыл бұрын
It was a crappy Chineseium sports camera. 2 second time-lapse on a 16gig card I think. I used Faststone to crop and collate all the images into one folder, then ffmpeg to turn the 43000 photos into one video

Great video. Keep making them.Great entertainment. Did you turn off around Port Pirie to get to Renmark?
@alexholver25078 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Would love to do another road trip and vids, but need the time and $$ of course. Yeah I think I skipped Port Pirie, and just cut straight across from memory
@chrissellick92828 жыл бұрын
I understand. What settings did you have your dashcam set at for how often it took a photo? I recognised most of the roads until Port Augusta to Renmark. I've driven across between Adelaide and Perth many times. How about a video driving around Perth? Instead of timelapse just set it to video so it records at higher speed than road speed.
@Kevin.Boyle.19814 жыл бұрын
@@chrissellick9282 He had it on hyperlapse about 64x normal speed.

@alexholver25079 жыл бұрын
+lukas F. 5-6 days. It's 4000km. Take as long as you like though, there's plenty of places to stop on the way.

Pff please 38 hours, no breaks and travelling straight to Sydney
@mills33755 жыл бұрын
rota m8 You’ve got to be joking. It’s nearly impossible to drive for 38 hours straight and you will have to be going a ridiculously high speed to drive from Perth to Sydney in 38 hours which no cars can do
