In an act of shameless homage to you Murray, I just bought a Scarp 1 - only had it out for a couple of trips but it's won me over. Congratulations on those excellent new trousers - is it too much to hope we've seen the last of the yellow version? Sphagnum Moss, btw, has many uses, not least of which is God's Toilet Roll. Great to see you out and about Murray. Your pack weighs heavier than most on account of the extra equipment carried to record your peerless footage for our delight.

What make and model is that red and black tripod attached to your rucksack? You always seem to get steady footage, even when its windy. I struggle with a cheap tripod in wind, and lots of footage that's shaky, especially if zoomed in. I mistakenly bought a huge tripod to sort the issue but it's too big to lug around the hills. Would you recommend the red and black one?

Hi Ed, its a K F concept tripod cost about £100 (I think). Its ok but the ball head ditatched from the tripod legs on my last trip so i would struggle to recommend it TBH!!
