I honestly don't know how you're a) not a tv / radio celebrity. b) a 10m+ KZbinr... your videos are well.. captivating for want of a better word. Your voice, the production.. everything makes me feel less anxious. Scotland's Mountains is quite literally therapy for me. Thank you, thank you!

We've found a flask of boiling water keeps hot enough for about 8 or 9 hours. Nick a few coffee packets next time you're in a hotel etc and you're sorted.
@valeriar66712 жыл бұрын
I agree with bringing a flask of hot boiling water as a substitute for a stove on occasions - ideal for warm days and nights when a hot meal is not really needed and the water stays hot enough for a couple of brews (and some instant porridge).
@ScotlandsMountains2 жыл бұрын
good idea - must remember that :) might try it out - would save the weight of the stove but add the weight of the thermos flask I suppose :) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

What a magnificent view! In 1994 I was on holiday in Milton Morenish with my (ex)husband and our 4 young children (6-13 yrs). We had a marvellous time. The weather was great and we tried to climb Ben Lawers but only my ex and oldest son (12) made it to the top, the others tired halway so we went back down. But it made such an impression on all of us and luckily the partners of my children are also fond of Scotland and they all can't wait to go there some time in the near future. Thanks Murray for this beautiful video!

Fantastic as usual, I'm sure I've mentioned it before on previous videos but the fact you really enjoy what you do really shows through. As soon as I get a notification you have a new video up I'm all over it like a cheap suit. Hey mate, have you ever tried a Thermacell for the midges? All I can say is DO IT! Get the version that runs on the normal camping gas cylinders. Once you use it, you will never go without one. Start it up when you first stop to set up camp and by the time your tent is pitched there will be no more midges.
